About this property
Best Views in All of Gatlinburg! Overlooking Mount LeConte & The National Park!
Welcome to “Smoky Mountain Memories” a stunning upscale 2 Bedroom 2.5 Bath cabin located in the heart of the Smoky Mountains. This Cabin was just recently completed and furnished in 2021. It is located in the highly desirable community of Chalet Village, which is tucked away just off of Ski Mountain Road. This cabin comes with an awe-inspiring, unobstructed view of Mount Le Conte. From the upper deck you can see the nightly splendor and sparkle of the city lights below. From the deck and the great room, you can watch as the aerial tram takes vacationer’s to and from Ober Gatlinburg. You will feel as if you’ve escaped the hustle and bustle of everyday life for the tranquil serenities that we’re all looking for. And if you’re lucky you’ll see a momma bear and her cubs, come strolling by looking for their next adventure.
When you pull into your level, easy access driveway (uncommon in Chalet Village) you will be met with magnificent mountain views. As you enter the front door you will be greeted with a spacious great room with walls of glass extending from floor to ceiling so not to miss any of the marvelous views that nature has to offer. The great room also has a floor to ceiling stone gas fireplace finished with a 100-year old reclaimed barnwood mantel. And what great room wouldn’t be complete without a 65” Smart TV? Adjacent to the great room you can enjoy your meals on the custom-made pine log dining room set. Above the table you’ll find an antler chandelier hanging from the 20-foot ceiling. You’ll have plenty of light to work on that jigsaw puzzle or to engage in one of the many family board games found within the cabin.
As you enter the master suite, you’ll find a vaulted ceiling complete with wooden beams, and a custom-made king-size bed with matching dressers. The master completes itself with a 55” Smart TV and sliding glass doors so not to miss the sunrise coming up over the mountains upon awakening. The master bath features a large closet, double sinks, granite counter tops and a large tiled shower.
The kitchen was designed and stocked with guests in mind. In addition to granite counter tops and new stainless-steel appliances, you’ll find the cupboards stocked full of dishes, glassware, silverware, cooking utensils, pots and pans, and bakeware. You can start your morning with a Keurig cup of coffee or a cappuccino. Additional appliances are right within your reach whether you’re looking to grill some pancakes and bacon on the griddle or blend up a smoothie or a margarita. Breakfast can be enjoyed on the table on the outdoor deck, or the bar stools that line the island. And what kitchen isn’t complete without a full-sized gas grill on the patio deck?
Heading upstairs you’ll find a cozy loft in which one can go to enjoy a book or even a nap. In addition to the furniture, you’ll find a small office and a foosball table for the young, or the young at heart. One thing that will follow you up to the den is the beautiful mountain view.
Heading downstairs you’ll find a guest bedroom, a game room and a full bath. The bedroom sleeps six on custom built-in bunk beds, featuring two queen beds and two twin beds. For your convenience and enjoyment, you’ll find a full-size dresser, and a 55” Smart TV. So not to hide those mountain views there’s sliding glass doors that will lead you right out to the bottom deck.
The game room was designed with families and kids in mind. There you can find a stone gas fireplace and a 55” Smart TV along with an XBOX system. At the other end of the game room you’ll find a full-size air hockey table, electronic dart board, and a corn hole game just ready to be played. If in the mood to kick back and play some poker, card games or board games just visit the large closet located in the guest bedroom. Adjacent to the game room is a second full bath with double sinks, granite counter tops, a large tiled shower and a washer and dryer for your convenience.
In designing this cabin, the main focus was the million-dollar mountain view and the ability to enjoy what nature has to offer. To accommodate this outdoor living, you have two beautiful decks in which to relax outside. On the upper deck you can enjoy the sunshine, or if you’d prefer the shaded section which is under roof. The upper deck comes with an outdoor wood burning fireplace, plenty of wood, a 55” Smart TV, cushioned outdoor furniture, table and chairs for eating, and a gas grill. The lower deck has a row of rocking chairs to be used in the cool shaded comfort on those long summer days. And as a perfect end to a beautiful day grab a glass of wine and relax in the heated spa that accommodates up to four guests.
You can enjoy free seasonal access to outdoor swimming pools, tennis courts, clubhouses and recreation areas at the Chalet Village Owners Club, which is only three minutes away. Or take a short 4-minute drive up the mountain to Ober Gatlinburg to enjoy skating, tubing, and skiing. Best part of this location is the ten minute drive to the entry of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park.
If you’re looking for an unforgettable relaxing getaway, this family-friendly cozy escape high up in the Smoky Mountains, will be your perfect “Smoky Mountain Memories”.
Important Air Conditioning Information:

This is normally caused by leaving windows or doors open when the A/C is running. Please do not leave any windows or doors open when the A/C is on, as this will cause the A/C unit to freeze up and shut down leaving the cabin without any air conditioning. Any damage caused or service call needed to get A/C operational will be charged a $250 service charge in addition to any damages. Thanks for your cooperation.
Important Winter Weather Information:
During extreme winter weather events (snow/Ice storms), Four wheel drive and/or chains may be required to reach the property in Chalet Village. There are signs at the bottom of Ski Mountain Road with flashing lights when this occurs. If you are traveling to or from the cabin over the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, be sure to call the National Park Service Road Conditions line at; 865-436-1200 press 1. US 441 over the National Park is subject to closures from October to April due to Snow, Ice and High winds.
Notice to all renters and guests of this property: This property is protected by motion sensing video surveillance. All video surveillance is located on the exterior of the cabin, facing the street for the sole purpose of checking for arrivals and departures', housekeeping and maintenance services. A smart doorbell is located at the front entry door and a video sensor is located in the right rear corner soffit of the cabin facing the driveway entrance.
