Chalet Lo Grané - Four Bedroom Chalet, Sleeps 8

The Cocoonr/Book&Pay agency offers this charming 60 m² air-conditioned chalet with breathtaking mountain views for rent in Jarrier, France. It can accommodate up to 8 guests. It features an attractive 28 m² living room, an open-plan kitchen, four bedrooms, a shower room and large terraces with panoramic views. Wifi via fiber optics included, we're just waiting for you to enjoy the mountain air with your family or friends!

The accommodation is composed as follows:
Ground floor:
- A 28 m² living room with TV (connected to fiber optics and Canal +), sofas and dining area.
- An open kitchen equipped with electric kettle, oven, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, hotplates, crepe maker, filter coffee machine and SENSEO coffee maker (pods not supplied).
- An enclosed but unheated veranda (approx. 12 m²) with a 3-seater sofa, a table and a hanger for drying ski clothes, and a small lockable room for storing suitcases and ski equipment.
- Laundry room with washing machine, tumble dryer, ironing board and iron.

First floor:
- Bedroom 1: double bed (140×190), TV and small dressing room.
- Bedroom 2: double bed (140×190), TV and closet.
- Bathroom with shower.
- Separate WC

Under the roof :
- Bedroom 3: a double bed (140×190) and a TV.
- Bedroom 4: two single beds and a TV

You can also benefit from the following equipment: a cot, a baby booster seat, a multifunctional appliance (pierrade, crêpière, raclette...), a fondue machine and a croque-monsieur machine.

Exterior:
- A first ground-floor terrace of approx. 60 m², facing south-east, part of which is covered to house a wood-burning oven.
- A second terrace on the level of the bedrooms and the parking area, approx. 36 m², with furniture for enjoying fine weather.


The house is ideally located in Jarrier, in a very pleasant and quiet environment. You'll enjoy a breathtaking view over the Saint Jean de Maurienne valley. In Saint Jean de Maurienne, you'll find all the shops you need, as well as boutiques, restaurants, bars, markets...

Activities:
Jarrier is a mountain village located on the balconies of Saint-jean-de-Maurienne, with 27 hamlets built around ovens, chapels and oratories. From this charming village, you can enjoy a wide range of activities and discover endemic flora and fauna.
Hiking or mountain biking (one of the world's largest cycling areas - Telegraphe, Galibier, Lautaret, Croix de Fer, Glandon, Iseran, Mont Cenis, Mollard, Madeleine, Chaussy and the Montvernier lacets), you'll be able to criss-cross the mountain passes, and keep your eyes peeled for marmots, chamois, eagles and vultures.
If you like skiing, you'll find what you're looking for just a few kilometers from our accommodation.
In winter, there's a snowfield for sledging right from the chalet. Snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and hiking from the chalet on marked trails. Orienteering circuits starting 100 m from the chalet.

Transport:
If you choose to come by car, you can park directly in the private parking lot in front of the chalet, which is accessible to all types of vehicle (5 vehicles maximum) except during snowy periods. (We strongly recommend parking on the side of the local road during snowy periods. Never go down if snow is forecast or if the private road is snow-covered (impossible to go back up).

As for other modes of transport, here is some information you may find useful:
- Nearest train station: Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne station, about 20 minutes away by car.
- Nearest airport: Chambéry Savoie Mont Blanc airport located about 1h10 away by car.

Other notes:
- In case of snow, it is impossible to drive down to the chalet (70 m walk).
- Electric convector heaters and reversible air-conditioning for bedroom heating. The living room is heated by a pellet stove and reversible air-conditioning.
- Pets accepted for a supplement of €15/stay (one pet only), please specify when booking.
- Bed linen and towels are not included and can be provided on request, at extra cost (rental and payment to be made with our partner on site).
- Cleaning at the end of your stay is your responsibility. (or in addition, 80€ to be paid to our local partner).
- A key box is available for late arrivals.
- A storage room for skis and sledges is available.
