Our cozy "Bakery Bungalow" was recently remodeled from "head to toe" with all new...everything! Guests will enjoy beautifully (north-woods) decorated comfort, nature & privacy, with light fruit (seasonal) & bakery breakfast items provided. - Our "Bakery Bunkhouse" (formerly a bakery / cafe) is next door, which sleeps 7 guests & is full of Scandinavian "hygge" and charming decor!

Ski Trip

We loved our stay!!! Jeri’s house is so cozy and beautifully decorated!!! We loved the little fireplace in the living room and the delicious bakery! The beds were very comfortable! We hope to come back again!

Ski 2024

Super charming decor… the pictures don’t do it justice! Comfortable beds and best stocked kitchen I have seen. Location is only 10 - 15 minutes to the ski hills which is great!!! Close to downtown but not too close allowing for a quieter experience. We have two 55 pound dogs that were welcome as well…. About a mile walk around the block thru a very quiet and pretty neighborhood… great for early morning dog walks. The dog park and miners trail only a few minutes drive for exercising dogs after skiing. JerriAnne and Gary are keen on making sure you are comfortable and feel welcomed. Overall a great stay with great hosts.

This cabin was delightful. A lot of extra touches to make it unique and pleasurable. The host even provided homeade baked goods, which was a sweet surprise. Would highly recommend this property & would stay again. :-)

My husband & I rescued this sweet home, after several years of neglect and abandonment. It was originally my husband's Grandparents' home, which was then purchased & sold several times after their passing. We were able to give it a complete makeover. Now the Bakery Bungalow is the coziest & most inviting, comfortable retreat for those of you who enjoy peace & the natural beauty of the U.P.

The Bakery Bungalow is like a sweet "nest", with all the cozy, comfy & tranquil amenities you could possibly want. It's convenient location is only minutes from town, with a large wooded yard to enjoy. It's also located only 20 minutes from Copper Peak, Lake Superior (Black River Harbor or Little Girl's Point) & only 2 minutes from walking, biking, or snowmobiling trails !
