I can’t say enough good things about this resort, the staff, or Dorothy, the condo owner. We rented from Dorothy and she went above and beyond to answer all of my questions quickly and make sure we had everything we needed. She even made us a reservation for a theater room in case we wanted to use it. Which we did. On the day of our check out we had a late flight. Dorothy arranged for us to continue to have resort access even after we checked out. I would highly recommend staying at this resort. They had everything we needed. All of the staff was very helpful and friendly. Two parking passes for the heated garage and two ski lockers were included. Having the rental equipment and ski school right at the resort and just steps from the lifts was a huge benefit. Peak 8 is definitely a great place if you have a mix of experienced and inexperienced skiers. Four lifts to greens, blues and blacks. One lift was great for first time or inexperienced skiers. We were there for spring break and the lift lines were never really long. We decided to go down to Peak 9 to check it out one morning. The lift lines were SO long. We immediately turned around and went back to Peak 8. There was a lot of outdoor space and tables to relax and get a drink when we needed a break. We were always able to get a table when we wanted. Even during Covid. All just steps from the lifts. Food is VERY expensive in the restaurants so we ate lunch and dinner in the condo with the exception of an adult night out in town. Everything we needed to prep meals was provided in the condo. They had a daily schedule of activities and crafts for kids and non skiers, plus the arcade, skating rink and even the gondola was entertaining for our kids. The resort also offers a free shuttle into town and back that runs until 10pm, and was super easy to order up on a moment’s notice. The shuttle has multiple stops around town and was always able to drop us off where we needed. We will never stay any place else when we return to Breck.
