Quirky property

Blois is a lovely city, definitely worth staying here. The apartment is great, very characterful area close to the centre of town. we very much enjoyed our stay.

Bonne location

Le logement est très agréable mais pas d’accès en voiture donc pas facile avec les valises. Blois est une très belle ville à visiter. Nous recommandons cette location.

Agréable séjour à Blois

Agréable séjour à Blois dans un appartement très bien situé et joliment décoré. Propriétaires à l’écoute et très réactifs. La configuration de l’espace semi mansardé et la mezzanine très basse de plafond n’étaient pas toujours pratiques quand on est de grande taille . Logement ancien bien rénové et pittoresque.

Hinterhauswohnung in der Altstadt von Blois

In der Summe war die Unterkunft in Ordnung. Die teils renovierte Altbauwohnung befindet sich in einem der vielen eng bebauten alten Häuser mit Innenhöfen. Im älteren Bad roch es unangenehm nach Abwasser, vermutlich wegen der unfachmännisch angeschlossen Waschmaschine. Die Küchenuntensilien waren minimalistisch. Das Haus ist quasi für Gäste mit dem Auto nicht unmittelbar erreichbar - die Straße ist mit versenkbaren Pollern abgesperrt. Autos können für eine relativ geringe Tagesgebühr auf dem öffentlichen Parkplatz in ca. 400 m Entfernung am Place de la Republique abgestellt werden - andere Parkmöglichkeiten sind Glückssache. Offenbar gibt es in Blois eine Taubenplage, der man versucht mit Nagelbrettern, Netzen, Verdrahtungen und mit aufgehängten CDs zu begegnen. Trotzdem sind die Tauben in den verwinkelten alten Treppenhäusern, an Fassaden und Innenhöfen heimisch - mit allen negativen Folgen - , auch für das Haus in dem die Wohnung liegt.
