Beautiful location. Very close to Normandy in quiet Village. Steps to get upstairs are a spiral staircase and need to be careful using them.Accommodations were very comfortable.
We loved this cozy getaway! We were in town to visit D-day sites and it was close enough to everything but also in a very quiet are. It had plenty of linens, blankets, seating, kitchenware, etc. We loved all of the unique decor and thoughtfulness put into making the space feel welcoming and modern. Great host with great communication! Highly recommend!
Good location for visiting the Normandy coast and particularly the WW2 war memorials. Lovely spacious house which was very comfortable and well equipped. Nice garden area. Off road parking opposite the house. We would be happy to stay here again and recommend it to others.

Merci beaucoup pour ce gentil commentaire !
Au plaisir de vous recevoir à nouveau
This is a very historic and fully remodeled place. Just what we wanted in Normandy. It was well equipped and very clean. The remodel and design were beautiful. We cannot give it anything other than great. You will be happy if you stay here. Thanks Jean for your timely responses to all our questions. Hope to be back from Atlanta ga.
The home was absolutely lovely! Perfect location for visiting the Normandy beaches. Parking was easy. Short walk to the beach, and short drive to coastal town.
Home was clean, nicely furnished, and a perfect size for family of 3. Especially loved the quaint back patio :).
This property is tastefully decorated with both modern and rustic furnishings. It is a generous sized two bedroom house with a charming outside space that is perfect for outside dining. We wanted a base to go exploring Normandy and this property was ideal. It had everything we wanted. We really enjoyed our stay.
This was a fantastic and cozy place for us while we explored the area around Normandy while tracing some WW2 family history. The historic building has been beautifully renovated while keeping the charm. There is easy nearby free parking, too. We enjoyed being able to walk to a nearby beach as well. The host communicates very well with guests and is quick to respond. There are many nearby interesting sights as well as essy access to a market and bakery in a nearby town. If we ever come back to Normandy, we hope to stay in this great property!
The house is decorated beautifully and has everything you need for a stay. Wifi was good, and Netflix is available, which is helpful if you have kids. Although its a small village its a good base for Normandy and the ferry. The owners checked to make sure we arrived safely and gave clear instructions for the house.
This apartment was in a great location, near Omaha Beach. It was cozy but big enough for 2 people. Communication was easy with the owners. The washer/dryer was a huge help when packing light. The parking lot was across the street, with ample lighting. The stairs to the bedrooms was a little challenging bc they were narrow, but we managed to get our suitcase upstairs.
The outdoor area was great, although we didn’t use it since it was chilly.
Overall it’s a great place, very clean.
This is the most adorable VRBO rental we’ve ever stayed in! Quite simply all the comforts of home! We loved the location, it was quiet and easy access to all the things we had planned. The only issue we encountered was that the water heater seemed to be on a timer so that if we returned in the late rainy evening there was no way to wash/warm up. The owner was wonderfully responsive but it was too late for him or the property consierge to come help.
This cute apartment is located in a charming area close to Port-en-Bessin, Bayeux and the landing beaches. A lot of attention has gone into the interior decorating of this apartment, yet it was missing some important details. We wish to owners would have provided the necessary detergents for the dishwasher and washing machine, for example. We also wish that we had known about the very narrow and steep spiral staircase to the upstairs bedrooms and bathroom. It was impossible to bring a suitcase upstairs, and for me, that staircase was terrifying and dangerous.

We are very surprised by your comment.
Indeed, we offer a "turnkey" accommodation with sheets, towels, washing machine, and dryer included, which is very rare these days. In fact, we only provide one tablet for the washing machine and dishwasher, enough to start your stay, and the rest of the products are at your disposal (dishwashing liquid, soap, laundry detergent).
Also, to say that the staircase is "terrifying" is not an exaggeration either; we have had over 100 reservations since we started renting and have had it secured by a professional cabinetmaker. Next time, choose a single-story house; I think that would suit you better.
We enjoyed our stay at this property. However, the apartment lacked some amenities that we have come to expect - including paper towels, napkins, and tissues. There was also only a limited supply of toilet paper, towels, and trash bags.
We also did not realize how far the apartment was located from restaurants and businesses. We took a taxi to the apartment from Bayeux and Uber was not an option. Getting groceries required a nearly six mile round trip walk to Port Bessin. I would not recommend staying at this apartment unless you have your own vehicle (there was plenty of parking). It would also have been nice if complimentary bikes had been provided.
These comments aside, the apartment itself is lovely and the pictures match the reality. The outdoor patio was very nice and the beds were comfortable. Wi-fi worked well and the owners promptly replied to messages. The surrounding environment is beautiful and Omaha Beach is within easy walking distance. We actually had almost an hour extra time added to our private tour of the D-Day beaches as we were so close to the main sites. We hope to return to the area in the future, but will definitely rent a car next time.
Ons verblijf was uitstekend.
