Great, out-of-the-way place

FIrst of all, Jennifer is a great host -- doesn't speak much English, but goes out of her way to try. We couldn't figure out how to use the heaters, so she came right over to show us. It was nice to meet her that way; she was truly helpful. The listing on Vrbo is 100% accurate, so there are shortcomings, but no surprises at all. Place is well laid-out for a family. That being said, Pannes is the middle of nowhere; all the commerce is in Pont-A-Moussons, about 15 km from the house. Good luck finding a French restaurant -- there's a McDonald's and a couple ursatz American-type restaurants - in Pont-A-Moussons. House is close to Verdun, which is what we wanted, but for that, we gave up the charming French restaurants. You MUST have a car to get around; there's no other way. But again, read the listing carefully; it's 100% truthful and accurate. Overall, we had a great stay, and Jennifer is a lovely host.

Logement conforme à la description. Petit souci de propreté à l arrivée (frigo sale, filtre à café encore dans la machine). Problème de pression d eau à la douche et d évacuation du bac à douche. Hormis ces points, le logement est conforme à l annonce, au milieu des champs (tranquille), avec un bon rapport qualité prix.
