"BEST" One Bedroom Find & "BEST" Location

Before I go into detail about my place, know that this is managed by owner (me) and I do not have up charges for administration fees or management fees. Rene’s Condo is located just 100 yards from Park City Mountain Resort. It is close enough to walk home for lunch or to enjoy a hot cup of cocoa after a morning of skiing. The walk to groceries and Main Street is easy and is truly a remarkable location to everything. Empire House has a spacious interior with over 800 square feet. It is nicely decorated in contemporary mountain design with wood like flooring and big screen TV's. The great family dining area at the circular table is awesome for eating and entertaining. Rene’s Empire House condo has a fully equipped kitchen, gas fireplace, HD cable TV, free Wi-Fi Internet and private balcony off the master bedroom with use of a BBQ grill. This unit sleeps 4 and is ideal for a small family. Enjoy the King Size bed in the master bedroom and a queen size sleeper sofa with a memory foam mattress in the living room. Quality linens and towels are also included as well as free underground parking. If you own a vehicle with raised tires or have a storage box ontop, measure it so I know it will clear the entrance of the garage. Please note there are two flights of stairs (approximately 28 stairs) that you must navigate to get to my unit, no elevator!! I am on the second floor, 2c.

Our large spacious master bedroom has a very comfortable bed and large bathroom with granite counters and a huge tub/shower combination with a steam mist system which is great for those sore muscles after a long day on the slopes. The tub/shower is separated from the vanity area to provide more privacy to each guest. Off the vanity area is a huge walk-in closet to hold all those bulky ski clothes and jackets. Comfort items like extra bedding and pillows are stored here as well as an iron, ironing board, vacuum cleaner, etc. The entire unit has radiant floor heating, so walking bare foot through the bathroom is not a problem. Feels wonderful on a chilly morning!

Welcome to winter at Utah's Park City, “The Greatest Snow on Earth” with World Class Skiing at Park City Mountain Resort, The Canyons Resort and Deer Valley. Park City, known for its International renowned Sundance Film Festival, is truly a unique village. One of the few places in the United States where you can walk off an airplane, hop on a shuttle and be to your destination in less than 40 minutes. Once in the village, there really is no need for a car, free transportation is provided by Park City Municipal Transportation. Besides skiing, there is an array of other winter sports from snowmobiling to ice skating. You can visit the Olympic Park built for the 2002 Winter Olympic Games. Dare yourself and fly down the bobsled course at 80 miles an hour. Park City has an array of restaurants from fine dining to a sled ride pulled by horses to take you to dinner in a Yurt. The property was sumptuous and extraordinarily well maintained. It came with everything you could think of and niceties that might not have ever crossed your mind. It is centrally located and places of interest are either within walking distance or a short drive. Hey Notebook was provided with clear instructions and recommended places of interest.

Comfortable and Convenient

Rene's place is clean, comfortable and convenient to both skiing and Old Town. We like to cook and were impressed with the fully stocked kitchen. Highly recommend for a Park City stay.

Great Time - Spring Skiing

Had a wonderful time at Park City. Our owner/host was great at communicating, gracious, and very helpful during our stat. The condo was nicely updated, very cute, clean, with lots of windows, a great bed, a cool dining area, and had all the amenities you could hope for: wifi, modern A/V, fully appointed kitchen, balcony with grill, and steam shower. Five Star Stay!

Amazing stay mountainside in PC!

Rene and her condo were wonderful. The location is amazing, less than a 5 min walk in ski boots to the mountain, and the condo is clean, stylish, and comfortable. When we accidentally rented a car that was too tall for the garage, Rene called us late at night to assist with figuring out the parking situation, which was above and beyond. We would stay here again and again!

Amazing condo close to the slopes

The condo is just beautiful-spotless and everything is brand new. We loved the location which was close to the slopes and walking distance to Main St. The owner Rene was so sweet and readily available for any questions-she helped us find alternate activities when Park City Mountain Resort suddenly closed down. We will be back!

Ideal Location

My son and I had a wonderful stay at this condo. It was spacious for a one bedroom condo. Cozy and warm setting made for a very pleasant stay. Steam mist shower hit the spot after some long days on the slopes. Location is ideal, not only walking across the street to the chair lifts, but to also catch the bus for the other resorts or to go to the Historical District for shopping and dining. I would strongly recommend this condo and certainly plan to come back once the snow flies again.

Best VRBO Property Ever!

We have visited Park City for spring break almost every year for the past 11 years, staying in a variety of properties, and Rene's Condo is hands down our favorite! The location couldn't be better for access to both Park City Mountain Resort and an easy stroll to Main Street. The condo is spacious, beautifully decorated and well-maintained. In addition to a gourmet kitchen, well stocked with appliances, tools and gadgets, we appreciated the small details that added to the comfort of our stay (e.g. make up remover wipes, hand/ boot warmers, a complimentary bottle of wine). Rene was very helpful and 5 stars simply doesn't do the property justice - we would give far more if we could! Would definitely love to stay here again!

Perfect place in Park City

I just enjoyed my third stay at Rene’s place in Park City. It is perfect in every way. The newly remodeled kitchen is a dream and FULLY equipped, including a large Le Creuset Dutch oven. The location close to Main ST, near the dog park, and walking distance to PCMR trails can’t be beat. The condo is very nicely updated and tastefully furnished, and the best feature of all is the super comfy bed. Actually, the best feature is owner Rene. She is very attentive and responsive and a pleasure to deal with. I strongly recommend this wonderful place. I’ll be back again and again.

Perfect location; beautiful condo

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Empire House. The condo is located on the quiet side of the building, while the building is perfectly situated for anyone interested in skiing in Park City or Deer Valley. The owner gave clear and complete instructions / directions and was very responsive. The condo was even nicer than the pictures, with a newly renovated kitchen and new floors in the kitchen / living room. Unit is well appointed and well stocked. Because there are two flights of stairs to navigate from the indoor garage to the unit, we would suggest using small suitcases to make it easier to transport upstairs. We would stay here again in summer or winter given its ideal location.

Best in Park City!

Thank you Rene for making your condo our home away from home! My husband and I felt truly relaxed and comfortable during our Park City stay. We were there for a trade show in downtown Salt Lake and were so happy we decided to stay in Park City. The drive into town is easy and very pleasant, and during the summer PC is so much cooler and relaxing than SLC. Your condo had absolutely everything we needed; the bed is ridiculously comfortable, the upgrades to the bathroom are fabulous, and we were very pleased with all the kitchen items you keep on hand. Those things really go a long way when you want to stay in and cook while traveling. We will recommend this condo to friends and family and will make this our regular lodging during our frequent trips to the Park City/SLC area. Thanks again! ~ Brandi

Great location for hiking and dining in and around Park City

My wife and I plus our son and fiancé (they were a last minute add-on) stayed in Rene's Empire House apartment for an extended weekend in July 2015. Rene was very accommodating. The location was perfect for enjoying downtown Park City restaurants and shops. We walked the mile from the apartment to the downtown area but just as easily could have taken the free shuttle bus that stopped just across the street at the Park City Mountain Resort every 20 minutes. The apartment was well furnished and stocked with cooking utensils and misc spices. Having enclosed underground parking included was very convenient. We had no problems finding many hiking trails and enjoyed driving through the beautiful mountain passes open only in the summer months. The pool for the building next door was a little loud at times since we kept the windows open for the fresh air but it closed promptly at 10pm each night and there was no noise after that hour. We really enjoyed our stay in Park City and especially at Rene's Empire House apartment and will definitely be returning to both.

Gold Standard for Vacation Rentals

You can tell this is an owner-occupied property, not just something held for an investment. I felt like I was actually someone's guest. The breadth of supplies and amenities is amazing (there are even scissors and tape!). Everything is labeled and clear instructions were provided, along with a packet of restaurant recommendations.Kitchen: Full range of cooking equipment, lots of spices, oils, condiments, etc. Nice coffee maker and grinder, cuisinart, etc. Instead of the scorched earth policy many rentals follow, here you are encouraged to leave nonperishable items. If possible, do your shopping after check-in so you can see what supplies are available.The condo is plenty spacious for a family of 4. My two full-grown teenage daughters slept on the pull-out, and it was fine. If you're driving to Park City, you can bring a mattress topper for better support.I enjoyed snuggling up with a blanket at the bay window with my morning coffee and watching the snow fall.Location is perfect. Literally a block from the lift entrance - 2 minutes across the parking lot. Walking distance to grocery store. And a 20-minute walk to the center of town; or take the bus (also a short walk across the PC mountain parking lot). Only noise we experienced was beeping from trash trucks or snow plows one morning, and people walking around upstairs.Condo has radiant floor heating, which was a treat. No need for slippers.Would definitely stay here again on next trip to Park City!

STAIRS!!!!

The inside of this property was outstanding. The owner took great care in supplying everything one would need for a perfect stay. There was only one drawback and it was a big one. Prior to renting this property we specifically asked the owner if there were any stairs as we are in our 70s and 80s. We were assured that there was only a few steps and then a landing and a few more steps. Well, there are 14 steps and then a landing and another 14 steps. 28 very steep steps in all. We struggled to get our luggage up and two small dogs one of which doesn't do steep steps. We stayed as long as we could, but checked out early and found another place to stay. It is a miracle that we didn't have an accident or fall. Every day was exhausting going up and down the stairs several times in a day. No elevator. We read the reviews prior and no one mentioned stairs. Therefore, it was a big surprise to us and we learned a hard lesson with VRBO.

This was a beautifully decorated condo with everything you could need and more. The location was great. There were two bus stops for free transport to multiple locations. You can also choose to walk the 1 mile to Main Street. We did both. The condo was extremely clean with a very comfortable bed. Its a safe neighborhood - we walked home after dark with no problem. Rene provided detailed lists and was very responsive. Would love to go back again one day!

Rene’s Empire House condo is amazing and likely one of the best vacation rental experiences we’ve had. Rene is a pleasure to work with. She is very friendly, communicative, and detail-oriented.The condo is in great condition - it was very clean and in great shape. The property is packed with essentials (dishes, bathroom accessories, supplies, etc.) - plus more. Things like condiments, lawn chairs, a hiking backpack, etc. There is also a nice semi-portable AC unit that makes it so much easier to deal with the summer heat. We definitely felt very comfortable when staying there and had no worries or concerns.The location is perfect - it’s near bus stops, walking distance to downtown, and just a few minutes walk to the Park City Mountain Resort. Rene left a binder full of helpful information about the area as well - restaurant recommendations, things to do, dog parks, hiking trails,etc.Overall this was an amazing stay. We’ve stayed several vacation rentals in Park City and this by far is our favorite.

Fabulous Place

OUTSTANDING Accommodations!!! Rene thought of Everything. The unit is Very well equipped. The drawers and cabinets are labeled and the unit extremely clean. Rene is easy to reach and quick to respond. The Empire House is well situated and we could walk to the park to play pickleball, take a walk on the Poison Creek trail, watch the skateboarders in the fantastic skate park and walk to main street for shopping and restaurants. Thoroughly enjoyable stay in Park City. We’ll be back.

My husband Ted I met in CA where we married and later lived in AZ raising our 2 boys for 20 + years. I enjoy traveling and exploring new towns and places. My hobbies include cooking, entertaining, and fishing whenever I can. Managing and hosting our vacation rentals came from property investments that we own and in giving it a try to see if property management was a good fit for me, I must admit that I really like doing it.

Why they chose this property

Our family has skied in many different locations in the Western States. Utah's snow and powder are the “Best” in the west. We love that fact that you can arrive at the airport and be on the slopes in less than an hour. The charming town of Park city is surrounded by two world class resorts, Park City Mountain Resort now including the Canyons and Deer Valley. We like the Ski Resort being right next to town. No driving down the mountain in a snow storm after a hard day of skiing. Many restaurants, the grocery store, and even the movie theater are just minutes away. Park City is also a great summer get-a-way with lots of fun things to do with the family.

What makes this property unique

Empire House is an old Victorian building built in the early 80's. Its architectural features are distinct and unlike anything you will see in Park City. Our condo is located directly across the street from Park City Mountain Resort - a very short walk and boom, you are on the lift. No need for a car in Park City, everything is within walking distance. If you don't have a car, then use the free shuttle service that is offered. It’s a short walk (less than 2 min) across the street to catch the shuttle which runs every 10-12 minutes to downtown Main Street.
