Loved it!

We loved the location and the views from the patio. It was very centrally located to the boardwalk and numerous dining options. Access to the beach was convenient, although we didn't notice any accessible ramps to the beach. The room was slightly dusty upon arrival but otherwise I have no complaints. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Myrtle Beach.

Unacceptable!

The fridge was rusted and the paint was peeling off. The bathroom door was rotted at the bottom. It had roaches. We will never stay here again at this hotel. Customer service was horrible!

Terrible room

Theres nothing I loved about this resort especially the room, it was filthy and dirty,the room was very old needs to be updated , dusty, lamps broken, headboard above the bed was hanging, roaches in the bathroom. The amounts they charge for the room is not worth it. I will never stay here again. I was not happy at all.

Very nice…

Clean, beds were really comfortable, fridge/freezer worked well but noisy, the AC unit had no problem keeping the room cool. Great view of the beach from the balcony but look to the right and you’ll be looking at rows of neighbors…that you might want to meet! The Patricia Grand staff is AMAZING and was truly interested in making sure that I had a great stay. Excellent food at the restaurant.

Okay...mostly...?

Prompt says, "Tell us what you loved". Well... we loved that the room was outdated and needed upgrading. We loved that the cockroach in the silverware drawer was friendly and came out to visit with us in very short sessions. We loved that he got pretty bored with our visits and would run to his quiet spot pretty quickly. We loved the room just beneath us that lit up a joint every morning at 8:00...and last all day long... on the balcony and the stench would waft up into our room, especially when we were eating. We loved the "No smoking facility" policy that was not enforced....but the signs were pretty!

Parking, rooms were clean, only issue was room key card kept loosing memory, and it wasn’t near my phone. Planning to stay again next year

Had a good family vacation

The beach, pools, bar, coffee shop and restaurant were pretty nice. Enjoyed the breakfast buffet at Indigo. The restaurant staff was great. The bar was nice and had enough food options to get you through the day without having to leave the beach and pools. The room itself was ok. Pretty basic. It was nice to have a full size fridge, oven and stove, along with enough kitchenware to cook some basic things. It was a bit dated, it could use some updates, but we were surprised with a nice ocean view. My only complaint was getting the hotel staff to follow through with requests. They didn’t come to clean or remove trash, restock toiletries or anything during the stay, which is fine, with Covid and all, and this was made clear to us when we checked in. We did have a poorly draining shower drain. I called the front desk and requested it get fixed, nobody ever came to fix it. I hope it gets fixed for the next family that stays there. I had to go to down to the front desk to get fresh towels for bathing, which also is fine, but when they would run out, they told me they would bring fresh towels up to the room when they had fresh ones cleaned, but never once did they bring towels up. I had to keep making multiple trips to the front desk to acquire towels, which got annoying. All in all we had a fun family vacation and a good time in Myrtle Beach.

Nice but never did get room service even after I called front desk. Also we never did get clean towels. Dog food was left in room from previous guests.

Hi Shannon! Thank you for your review. To clarify, room service is not offered at the Patricia Grand. This property functions as a short-term private rental, not a hotel. Thus, we do not change out the linens every day for our guests. We provide plenty of clean towels upon arrival for our guests to use throughout their stay. Towels are washed and changed in between guests. We are surprised to hear that there was dog food left in the home as this is not a pet-friendly unit. Dogs are not allowed on the premises of the property. We apologize for the confusion regarding room service. We hope to have the opportunity to host you again in the future!
