When stepping into the home through the main foyer, you'll be greeted by a masterfully crafted staircase that is a true rarity in modern homes. The two bedrooms, along with a private bathroom, are also situated on the second floor. Additionally, the den area is thoughtfully equipped with a microwave, a small fridge, a coffee pot, and a tea kettle.

This property is beautiful. Jamie is the perfect host, even left us breakfast in the morning. The house is well decorated and she has thought of every detail. The beds were comfy ! Would highly recommend.

This property is beautiful and very well maintained. Much more than we expected. Quiet neighborhood

The Hosts were very friendly and informative as it was our first time in this area. There was a very private garden area with plenty of seating a a bbq. The front porch was my favorite spot for reading. The apartment was beautiful and much more than we expected. We will definitely be returning. Thanks so much Jamie and Dave York.

A little Piece of Paradise

After traveling 9 hours we arrived at the most beautifully appointed apartment. We were warmly greeted by our hosts who took the time to walk us thru the place. From the coffee maker with the coffee pods and teas and the cream and sugar to the mini fridge and microwave to the complimentary wine, everything we would need for our one night stay was impeccable. The bedrooms were luxuriously outfitted complete with robes in the primary king bedroom. The bathroom consisted of two rooms, one with a huge soaking tub and the other with a spa shower Our only regret was that we were only staying one night as we had another 9 hour travel day ahead of us. By far one of our favorite places we’ve booked!

Au bord du lac Érié nous accueillent Jamie et David dans le superbe maison ancestrale ayant appartenu à un inventeur célèbre. Nos hôtes nous reçoivent avec gentillesse et bienveillance. Ils mettent à notre disposition tout le haut de leur maison : 2 grandes chambres confortables, une très belle salle de bain et un petit boudoir où l’on trouve tout ce qu’il nous faut (cafés, thés, eau…). Cette maison est un havre de paix dans un quartier tranquille. La générosité de Jamie nous a permis d’utiliser son jardin et son barbecue pour un souper en amoureux dans un cadre enchanteur. Bien située cette maison est à quelques kilomètres de la plage et on peut aller à pieds au village, 20 minutes de Niagara Fall et ses vignobles. Nous recommandons vivement cet endroit. Beautiful comfortable historic home with A++ Host!

We could not have been more pleased with our choice of a unique place to stay. I was afraid we were a bit too far from Niagra Falls, but it ended up being a very pleasant 20-25 minute drive through the country. The house and rented space was exactly as advertised. The beds were ultra comfortable! Breakfast is not included, however Jaime still was kind enough to provide us coffee, banana bread, and some fruit each morning. I would definitely stay here again!

We made our home into a short-term vacation rental and enjoyed having guests stay at our lovely home. In the village, we are able to go cycling on the Friendship Trail. Paddle boarding at Crystal Beach ( Bay Beach). We Love the horses we spend time horseback riding at the local farm. In the winter we hit the trail for some cross-country skiing. We love this place and you will too.

Why they chose this property

The York House is very central to the Southern Part of Niagara, only 20 minutes to Niagara Falls. Great shopping at the outlet malls. The Peace Bridge is just a short drive. Crystal Beach is only a 2-minute drive. The village of Ridgeway has lots of shops and restaurants. Come and see what we have to offer on the sunny shores of Niagara.
It is the best-kept secret in the Southern part of Ontario.

What makes this property unique

The guest has full access to the backyard. and front porch. The friendship trail is at the end of the street, bring your bikes to bikers paradise. There is also a BBQ in the courtyard. If you love the water and would like to enjoy Crystal Beach ( Bay Beach) pack your beach bag and see what we have to offer. Safari Niagara is another great place to visit with the children.
