Governor’s Green is centrally located in Williamsburg, super close to the Premium Outlets, historic Williamsburg, some delicious restaurants, and of course, Busch Gardens.

The 2 Bedroom Deluxe Suite has a king-size bed in the primary bedroom, two queen-size beds in the guest bedroom, and a queen-size sleeper sofa in the living area. Two bathrooms, washer/dryer. Full kitchen includes a coffee and tea maker, microwave, refrigerator, oven, dishwasher, stove, toaster, cookware, and flatware. Convenient comforts include cable TV, DVD player, hairdryer, AM/FM alarm clock, iron and ironing board. Max occupancy: 8, 1242 sq. ft.

Set just three miles outside of Williamsburg, the resort is in prime position to allow guests easy access to the rich colonial history that has made this area so famous. THINGS TO KNOW

A credit card is required for the refundable $250 security deposit requested at check-in.

Fees (e.g., parking or amenity fees) and deposits are set and collected by the resort and are subject to change.

As this is a timeshare property, you may be offered the opportunity to attend a vacation ownership meeting or timeshare tour. They may offer an incentive of free shows or gift certificates for restaurants. As our guest, you are in no way obligated to attend these meetings. Please be aware that any fees or costs associated with your voluntary participation is at your sole discretion and responsibility.

Please communicate the name and address as it appears on the photo ID of the (1) person who will be handling check-in at the time of booking. This is a requirement of the resort and helps to offer a secure and convenient check in experience for our guests. Please consider arrival plans so that whoever arrives first is able to gain access to the suite. The resort does charge $99 to change this information once it's been registered and the final confirmation has been sent.

The resort does their very best to ensure the suites are ready for check-in by 4 pm or earlier. However, sometimes housekeeping delays do occur. In these instances, the resort is happy to complete the check-in paperwork and store your luggage so you can relax and begin using the amenities. We are not able to offer compensation or refunds related to check-in delays.

Super Spacious Unit

We stayed in the unit for a long weekend for graduation. The unit was super spacious and had everything we needed. It was close to the college, restaurants, shopping, etc. The unit was very clean as was the grounds of the property. I'd highly recommend staying here.

Wonderful stay!

I have to say we were very satisfied with this booking and property. The grounds were well kept. The condo was nice and clean. The beds were very comfortable. We loved having the kitchen space so that we could save money on eating out. The location was wonderful as well. It felt safe and out on its own, but also very easily within reach of all the things. We visited Williamsburg, Jamestown, and Yorktown and did it all very conveniently. Would definitely book here again and recommend to others. Thank you for being affordable enough to allow us to bring our family on this trip.

It was beautiful and the units were spacious. I didn't like the pressure put on me to buy into their time share. However, that was my fault for falling for promises of no pressure and gifts. The staff was very helpful with anything we were in need of, especially Tiffany. She made our stay wonderful after a trying first day. Be aware they contract the cleaning of the rooms out to a third party who isn't living up to even minimum standards. If you are as unlucky as we were to have issues the staff does their best to make it right.

Great Location, Nice Pool, Lacking in Customer Service

Resort is located just a very short drive from Colonial Williamsburg (less than a 10 minute drive) and has beautiful grounds. We found the customer service to be very lacking and the Wyndham policy of only being able to add on 2 nights at a time once you are checked in is tantamount to fraud. We had booked a five night stay and on day four, wanted to add one additional night. In order to do so, because of the way the Wyndham system works, we would have had to double pay for our last night (we had already paid for it once, and would have to pay for it again), in addition to the additional night we wanted to add on, as their system only allows you to add on additional nights in 2 night blocks - regardless of how many nights you had already been there and paid for. It seems this should definitely be something that they should be able to override, particularly when they had a vacancy that next evening that we were requesting to stay. But even worse was the treatment from the front desk. The woman I spoke to literally hung up on me as I was explaining our situation. The grounds are absolutely wonderful but the treatment by the staff knocks it down from a 4-star place to more of a 2-star place.

Great location for Bush Garden guest

We planned on going to Bush gardens and chose a place close to family friends that live in VA. The resort is beautiful and the amenities were everything we needed for a home away from home. We will be definitely staying here next year.

Condo needs a deep cleaning, but otherwise great.

Overall, Wyndham Governor's Green is a great place to stay. My family enjoyed the pool, hot tub, mini-golf and playground they had at this property. We liked the size of the condo for our family of 4, but it could use a deep cleaning. There were cobwebs on the ceiling fans and in the corners of the rooms. We had an issue with the whirlpool in our condo the first day, but maintenance addressed it quickly and got it to work.

Property was fine other than the shower doors did not slide in the tracks. Both bathroom shower doors need fixing or replacing. We were disappointed the miniature golf course was closed, that was one of the reasons we chose this location. Disappointing but not traumatic. Overall facility was fine.

As Advertised

The unit was spacious and included all amenities I expect from a condo. Everything worked: microwave, stove, coffee maker, TVs (except the toilet handle came loose from the plunger on the last night of my stay but not a big deal). The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels. I was however disappointed in the cleanliness of the unit. The shower door tracks were very dirty (black scum), the doorframe in the master bathroom had hand prints on it. The baseboards were dusty and the bathroom faucets had to be wiped down before we used them. The property made such a big deal about how care had been taken with cleaning. Seeing these major gaps makes me question just how “sanitized” things were. Even though the cleanliness didn’t meet my expectations, I would recommend staying there again but I would make a point of asking more questions about the cleaning process. In hindsight, I should have asked the property manager to arrange for someone to clean, particularly the showers.

Only issue was broken glass on the floor, which with a child is a big issue. I stepped on it as well. Likely from a broken coffee pot which we noticed was missing the first morning. Granted they did get us a new one the coffee pot in general was broken inside we found out also when trying to use. So yes, small issues but I wish it had been handled before we checked in.

Nice property

The check in building was extremely loud with the high ceilings. The staff was professional even though we had to yell at each other. There was confetti in the pull out bed and outside the door of our condo . Not exactly the cleanliness I expected from a Wyndham . There was a shortage of spatulas. After asking twice they did bring one within 30 minutes. Would definitely recommend staying here again. Quiet, relaxing, great location.

Family trip to Williamsburg Area

Five stars! Clean and very comfortable accommodations. Excellent customer service...very friendly and hospitable. They called to check on us and see if we needed anything. The kitchen was well supplied with dishes, cookware, etc. The bathrooms had plenty of towels. I never heard a neighbor the whole time we were there. Very peaceful. I am so delighted to find this location and hope to come back.
