The first-floor bathroom includes an over-size clawfoot soaking tub. The eat-in farmhouse-chic kitchen features brand new appliances, is fully stocked for entertaining, and opens into the formal dining room with seating for 8, a bay window seat overlooking an apple tree, and a bar. Upstairs, you'll find 4 bedrooms all with large built-in closets, a sleeping porch wrapped in stained glass, and a second bathroom. The spacious main bedroom has plenty of room for a crib if desired (available on request) and features a king bed, mountain views, and a flat screen TV. The front porch is perfect for watching parades, fireworks and car shows down Main Street, while the backyard feels magically secluded, with apple trees, a picnic table and BBQ for dining al fresco, and a firepit perfect for roasting s'mores.

Great mountain house
We enjoyed our stay very much. The hosts were very communicative, the house was lovely and filled with welcoming touches and it was close to skiing. We’d love to stay again.

I am a producer, foodie, and adventurer. I love theater, live music, and meeting people.

I love traveling, and especially enjoy getting to know places "like a local" would -
dive bars, off-the-beaten path sights, and the local cabaret venue are on my list.

Why they chose this property

After staying in this rental property in the summer of 2020 (while working remotely due to Covid), my partner and I fell in love and bought it! We spent the winter doing home improvements, making the house even more comfortable and accommodating to large groups, and are thrilled to share this unique home with others!

What makes this property unique

The home is a truly special combination of convenient and secluded; it has the charm of simpler times but meets all your modern needs. The Victorian home has been lovingly cared for it's entire life. It has been renovated, but not changed. Similarly, Tannersville is remote enough to feel like you're away from it all, but you don't need to drive 30m if you forgot to get milk at the grocery store. The community is small and kind. The whole vibe feels bygone, but not antiquated.
