Yes, we could see the ocean from the home but the view of the bay was best. We didn't have any pets but the home was so clean that while it was pet friendly, anyone would be comfortable. Best of all walking distance to everything! So unique we'd all stay again in a heartbeat!
Perfect place for our extended family new years. Plenty of room for everyone, and clean. Easy walk to downtown Bandon, or the beach. Can't wait to visit again!
House was clean. Kitchen well stocked. Very open and roomy to accommodate a large group. Very close to old town and the port for walks to town. Nice river view. Close to the beach.

We all had so much fun at this property! It was like stepping back in time, while enjoying all the comforts of home. The charm of this house enchanted our entire group. Wonderful beds and modern bathrooms. Would definitely love to visit again.
This old house was perfect for our family reunion. It was well stocked, comfortable and roomy. The location near this great little town and on the river was perfect.
We loved the historic building right on the water, with a view of the lighthouse. Located right in Bandon, so all restaurants, cafes and shops were minutes away. Well equipped kitchen, and the beds and bedding was the most comfortable I've seen in a rental. So much room for all of our family, we had a delightful weekend.
Great location, very cool House with history. Well furnished with everything you need to have a great vacation. Perfect location to enjoy downtown Bandon. Highly recommended !!
This home is right next door to the Edgewater restaurant in Bandon. You can walk to everything in town which was great for us. After a long day playing golf at Bandon Dunes, it was great to be able walk to a variety of restaurants, coffee shops, and hiking trails.
Group of 5 golfers stayed here for a week. Had everything a group would want. Great location for walking downtown and eating and drinking. Clean, large home gave us plenty of room. We would book again. Thank you for sharing your wonderful place.

Location and updated bathrooms where 5+
We loved the home and were quite comfortable. Closet space very limited but certainly doable if you live out if your suitcase.
We will definitely look forward to renting again!
My son and his friend and my brother and myself stayed there. It was so enjoyable. My brother is a photographer and got some great photos of the sunsets over the lighthouse. Beds were very comfortable and I loved the kitchen. Hope to come back again. I would give it a 5 star rating.

This place comfortably slept 8 guys. It’s located right next to a great restaurant (10 steps to the right) and right on the water. House was clean and beds were comfy. It is a historical building and the lights were hard to identify switches or turn on, but we were only there to sleep and recharge.
Four old guys checking off a bucket list item playing Bandon Dunes. This house was perfect for our needs. 10 minutes from the courses. Great location for food. House was large and clean. Awesome views on the water. Updated and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay.

Bandon Historic River House is a roomy, comfortable, unique house in Bandon’s Old Town. It’s an easy walk to shops, restaurants and beaches. The house’s renovation from a store to a house was done cleverly and with coastal flair. The kitchen is well appointed, and it was easy prepare and serve food for our group of eight

Communication with the host was great! We had some question before arrival and I received concise answers very quickly. We also created an issue by losing the key on the golf course. Were helped quickly, professionally, and happily. Before check-in, we received detailed instructions and gaining entry was easy. The house itself was perfect for our large group. We loved the large living space and the big dining table. Both were the perfect place to gather. The kitchen was well appointed. We cooked large meals several nights and breakfast each day. The kitchen had everything we needed. For the days we didn't eat in, there were plenty of options in the area that we could walk to.The house was fantastic and in a great location for food and golf. We highly recommend staying here.
Came out to Bandon to play golf at Bandon Dunes and didn't want to stay in the lodge. Perfect location about 10 mins from golf courses, great small town with coffee shops, seafood eateries, pubs, etc. Just a great town that had everything we needed, plus amazing house right on the water. Would highly recommend, communication with owner was quick and he was super helpful. 10 out of 10.
