From time to time I find myself traveling back to Keokuk to see friends. After staying at Ginny’s place I know I will never stay anywhere else. Very clean, spacious, super nice kitchen area, comfy bed. Plus she left us vouchers for breakfast in the coffee shop below. We loved the fact that an old building had been renovated and saved. And our loft unit was designed with that in mind. See you again Ginny!
Lily Pad #1 was impressive. The revitalization of the space was very tastefully done. It created a spark to do the same for several of the other structures in the area that just need a lift up. Some more than others, but they are ALL worth saving! The area could have so much potential! I just wish I were younger to take on some of the projects myself! I digress...Lily Pad 1 was very comfortable and the communication with the owner was great. The only thing that may be a deterrent for some is the stairway. It is beautifully done, however, if someone could not do stairs, I don't believe there is another way to access. Other than that, the owner was very helpful and full of information! Plus the Coffee shop below was a fabulous breakfast spot! Thank you! I hope to return again
Amazing place to stay! They give you a voucher for breakfast from the coffee shop runs. Great breakfast options. Quiches, cinnamon rolls and the breakfast burritos were our favorites!! It was very spacious and the layout was perfect for my family of 5. Ginny was super nice and her help in the coffee shop was also very nice. Would recomendó 10/10.
The place is better than the pictures- so much space and tastefully decorated. It was very comfortable as we sat around and laughed and chatted as we caught up on old times. It was great.
Loved the accommodations! It was wverything we needed for our stay and then some. We loved the modern and cozy feel along with the open concept of the living room and kitchen. The bed and pillows were comfortable as well! Wonderful place and already booked again! Thank you!
We just needed a quick stay on our way home from spring break and this was an awesome find! Perfect for our family to relax and unwind, clean and comfortable plus the awesome perk to have breakfast before hitting the road in the morning! Thank you!
My stay was absolutely wonderful. The place is positively gorgeous, open, and just felt like home. I was so relieved because it was so close to where the wedding venue and the reception and was held, so I didn't have to try and drive across town. Checking in went so smoothly, the emails that were sent made everything so much easier, I would have never remembered the entry code. She had a voucher for a local coffee shop waiting for me.
This was meant to be a romantic weekend trip that turned into a romantic/ work trip. But the space worked well for both. The property was just as it was described and shown in pictures, very modern while still accentuating the building historical aspects. The location is central to anything you may need. Restaurants and an adorable coffee shop are just below the apartment.plush comfortable towels, nice cozy couches, everything you need to cook a meal (including some basic spices), new appliances, and a large shower. We particularly liked the lighting the space had.The road is busy and noisy but it didn’t bother us. This would be a great stay for a work trip, a romantic get away, or even for a larger family.
It was nice to check in with a key pad and go right into the unit. The unit is beautiful and well done in regards to the remodel. The loft feel is true to a loft and the views are nice. Just a note it is very noisy at night a lot of loud traffic but it goes away later on in the evening the pull out sofa is comfortable the main bed is also comfortable
We were in Keokuk to visit family, and it was so nice to have a place where additional family could gather, you can't do that in a hotel room! This place was absolutely gorgeous, and the photos couldn't possibly do it justice! It was exquisitely renovated, with tasteful modern conveniences, while keeping its historical integrity intact! The 13th ceilings really are breathtaking! Love the location in historic downtown Keokuk!
The pictures of this place don't even do it justice! The studio was so beautiful and clean! The host was amazing and went out of her way to make our experience amazing! We will definitely be back!
