Charming lakeside 3BR-3BA coastal cottage that sleeps 8 guests! 1312 Ravens Run is situated in the picturesque enclave of Laurel Grove at the Resort. Our location is convenient to the beach entrance, the Village at Baytowne Wharf, the marina, tennis center, and all that the Resort has to offer. The Laurel Grove clubhouse features a sparkling blue swimming pool (seasonally heated), hot tub, an exercise room and a full kitchen with an outdoor grilling area. There are several ponds at Laurel Grove suitable for catch and release fishing. A quick tram ride will take you straight to the beautiful sandy white beach. The Resort also offers tennis, golf, restaurants, shopping, walking trails, bicycle paths, and activities too numerous to list!

Tastefully furnished with comfort in mind, the updated décor reflects casual beach style. Our spacious family room is designed with a 30” cathedral ceiling, wood floors, cushy seating, and a large HDTV/DVD. French doors open to a breezy lakeside porch with outdoor seating. Enjoy preparing meals for everyone in our fully stocked updated kitchen or whip up a meal outdoors on the charcoal grill for an afternoon treat.

The master bedroom is conveniently located on the main floor and offers a king bed, an HDTV, and adjoins the master bathroom with a soaking tub and separate shower. Also located on the main floor is the second bedroom with 2 full beds, HDTV and a hallway guest bathroom featuring a large shower. The upstairs loft bedroom offers a king bed, an HDTV, and a full bathroom with a tub/shower. There is a stacked washer and dryer, and wifi is complimentary.

Our cottage is a relaxing place to spend some time at the beach! Your vacation to remember starts here at 1312 Ravens Run E at Laurel Grove.

CANCELLATION: Reservations that are cancelled more than 30 days prior to the arrival date receive a full refund. Reservations cancelled 14-29 days prior to arrival receive a refund of 50% of the amount paid. Reservations cancelled within 14 days of arrival receive no refund unless the guest purchased travel insurance. Guests are required to complete a rental agreement by electronic signature within 3 days of booking. *All guests required to sign golf cart liability form.

We had a great time with our teenage kids in this location. There was lots of room, no issues, a cute house, and the golf cart was fun—great location for restaurants and shopping. We would stay here again.

Nice place

When we arrived the golf cart was not working, had someone come look the next morning and he didn’t know what was wrong so had to call someone else, had it running by the afternoon. Was listed that it had a sofa sleeper which it did not so we ended up purchasing a blow up mattress. Some of the throw pillows on the couches were dirty. We did like sitting outside on the back deck overlooking the golf course and my son loved fishing in the pond out the backdoor. Nice short walk to the pool, but a longer ride on the golf cart to the ocean.

Short Stay

Overall the place was good. Clean and great location for entertainment at the Baytowne Wharf and not a far drive to the beach. The golf cart is a gamble if you are booking in hopes of using it. We stayed for a short period and sadly couldn’t use it the way we were hoping. The customer service agent did send someone out to fix it so hopefully it’s not an issue anymore. Also the dryer doesn’t contain the lint as it should. Keep that in mind when doing laundry if you don’t want the headache of cleaning lint off your clothes!

The house needs some upgrades !!!

The upstairs bedroom has no air the couple upstairs was miserable. Due to being so hot we had to wash the sheets the bedding pad was soiled so bad it’s was very unsanitary. The dinner rooms chairs are very soiled and nasty. The have the worst cooking utensil dollar store I’m sure. More outdoor seating out back. The bench on the front porch is very unsafe it’s very wobble. I wouldn’t trust my child on it. The couches are very low. Also the smoke detector was missing from upstairs. We enjoyed ourselves and the golf cart was great!

According to our records, immediately upon being notified of the air conditioning issue, a member of our team contacted our HVAC service. A service order was placed and the AC was fixed within 24 hours. However, we are very sorry if members of your party were uncomfortable for any length of time and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Our records also indicate that a member of our maintenance team replaced the smoke detector immediately upon being notified of its absence. However, guest safety is of utmost importance, and we sincerely apologize that it was missing upon arrival. Unfortunately, we were not aware of any issues regarding the cookware or sheets and regret that these issues were not addressed during your stay. Please note that if you choose to return (and we hope you do!), we ask that guests notify us of any concerns upon discovery so we may remedy these as soon as possible. We would have been more than happy to deliver additional cookware and sheets, if needed. We greatly appreciate your candid review and hope you will accept our sincerest apologies. The home had comfy beds, nice furniture, and a great layout.The brand new golf cart was amazing! Room for 6 and very clean. It was absolutely worth staying a little farther off the beach to have the quiet house and a easy way to get around. Drawbacks: No garage or storage space at all. Most of the house was well cleaned, but the floors were not! I ended up buying a mop and cleaning the floors myself on the first day so that we could stand to walk around inside. Overall, I would recommend this property. We had a great week!

Great location but not a great house

First, I will say that we love Laurel Grove & the location of the house was great. However, we will not be returning to this house. We have stayed at several houses in this neighborhood over the years, and this was by far was our least favorite. It wasn’t very clean and there was black mold in the bathroom. There were also a few broken items (for example-toilet paper holder, DVD player, & welcome sign). Also, the golf cart isn’t new and the seatbelts didn’t work properly. But on a positive note, the property company was very responsive about the seatbelt issue & fixed it within 1 day. Easy access to Grand Blvd wasn’t available due to old tags on the cart, this was frustrating. There are much better homes in the neighborhood to rent, I would suggest those over this house. The value for this rental was not on par with the rest.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First for the good. Everything was clean (Except dirty towels left behind a door) Beds were comfortable. Now the bad. The rental only had one AC unit. Upstairs was an oven, and the downstairs was a FREEZING ice box. As a result, I caught an expensive head cold due to this. The Wi-Fi was non-existence for 90% of the time. we called to tell them that it would not work and we were told to unplug the modem for a minute and then plug it back in. we did this every 30 minutes too many times to count! Totally unacceptable!!!The rental site stated sofa sleeper and there was none. They put a 8-person limit on the unit. We had two extra grandkids join us and we could have used a blow up but no, it cost me a $1000 for a hotel room. Never run into this in any other rental I've stayed in. Want to play at one of the golf courses? You can forget that if you stay at this unit, they won't allow it. You can't even use the driving range. I WOULD NEVER STAY IN THIS UNIT AGAIN!! But I'm sure that this review won't be posted but its the truth?

I would not recommend this property.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The front porch and the back porch were dirty. Needs pressure washing and painting. The inside is dated and needs to be refreshed. The neighbor Paul came over and explained that he was on the fine committee and basically a parking Nazi (his words). We were unable to find parking that would satisfy Paul (Nazi neighbor). We contacted security and they allowed us to park at the Raven golf course to get away from Paul the Nazi. Laurel Oaks itself is a nice neighborhood and is in a good location. However, we were harassed by Paul explaining how important he was and what rules are every freaking time we saw him. His wife Stacy was nice. However, Paul is a control freak. Please do not rent this property if you are looking for peaceful place to spend with family. Paul (Nazi) told us we would have to pay a $1,000.00 for each sprinkler we broke if we parked the golf cart on the grass. In our opinion, this house is not a good value. We do recommend Laurel Oaks subdivision.

We loved this property!

It was a wonderful vacation at this home & this neighborhood/location. The home was clean, beautiful & peaceful. The location was fabulous! The moment we drove into Sandestin bayside we were impressed. We drove the golf cart all over the resort, there were so many places to explore. Restaurants, beautiful bay view, shopping.

September 2021 Stay

This was our first time staying in the Sandestin resort. We loved this community - there is a lot to do and see, and we felt very safe. It was fun driving a golf cart everywhere! We loved the house - the tall ceilings and doors made it feel very spacious, and the house was well-equipped. The pool was also close by. The beach was not close by, but easy enough to get to by golf cart/car. Our only real complaint was that the house could have been more clean. The white railing on the stairs and the front door by the knob was blackened from usage. Underneath the toilet seats also needed to be wiped down, as well as baseboards and the back doors to the porch. We ended up wiping things down ourselves and did not call the rental company.

Relaxing

Easy to do online rental, instructions were promptly sent and any questions I had were answered in a timely manner! The home is very nice and close to the pool and hot tub within walking short distance if you didn’t want to use golf cart. The cart was so nice to get around everywhere, lots of choices to eat out as well as a fully stocked kitchen to be able to fix our breakfast daily. Definitely would stay again, thank you for sharing your home with us. Having the golf green “17th hole” right behind us was a great to watch the golfers n many were so friendly n talked to us! Just wish the weather had been nicer for us, had couple nice days in 70’s but got really windy n cold the last 3 days.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was noticeably clean when we first arrived. It felt and smelled clean which is a big deal to us. The golf cart was such a fun addition and so handy to go to the beach or the wharf. The charging cable seemed to be in need of repair and something the owner or property manager may need to consider. The windshield was also damaged when we arrived, but it in no way impairs your vision. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking tools which was another bonus. We had ****** weather our whole stay, but the games provided by the owners were perfect! They also have a few beach toys! The loft upstairs could use some shades on the 2 windows going up the stairs, but I’m sure they would have to be remote controlled given where they are and a great expense, but as I said, we had ****** weather so it didn’t bother anyone. The washer and dryer is pretty small so keep that in mind. The upstairs shower may need some attention as it makes a very loud noise when turned on and is also a little dated. Overall it was a fantastic home and I highly recommend! It is also close to the entrance/guard shack and not a far golf cart ride to the beach. Thank you for hosting us! Keep in mind this is a house & they only provide enough trash bags, dishwashing soap, etc for brief use. It is also next door to a resident so I encourage you to keep her in mind with regard to parking and noise.
