Located in Chauvin, Louisiana , Pelican's View Lodge is the place to stay if you are looking for South Louisiana’s finest recreational fishing--the Gulf of Mexico for offshore fish as well as vast areas of inshore fishing. Truly some of the world’s best speckled trout and red-fishing while experiencing comfortable accommodations.

Imagine cooking on the charcoal grill while watching shrimp boats drift by or relaxing in the Adirondack chairs while listening to your favorite tunes. Then wake up early to find yourself on deck with some of the best Charter Captains in the area who are available to take you on an unforgettable fishing trip. Or, you can bring your own boat and launch it right at the lodge. Catch huge Black Drum off the dock almost year around (We will leave a few crab traps for you to catch you bait) and leave instructions in the lodge on how to catch them! Lightening on the water for perfect night fishing!

Suspended over the water in the quiet fishing neighborhood of Cocodrie, Pelican View Lodge is a wonderful place to relax. This 2 bedroom, 1 loft, 2 ½ bathroom lodge sleeps 12 people comfortably:

Bedroom 1: King bed, Single Bed

Bedroom 2: 1-twin over full bunk-bed, 1 Queen

Loft: 2-twin over full bunk-beds

Check-in is 4pm; check-out is 10:00am

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Leave slept in beds unmade, set AC to 78 in the summer and 60 in the winter, move garbage cans to the edge of the slab and gravel road. Please tidy up downstairs area.
If you are able to load the dishwasher and get it started- it would be helpful. If you can put one load of towels to wash- it would be helpful.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Pelican view lodge is our go to place when we come to Cocodrie fishing! Accommodations are always excellent! And the boat ramp next to the lodge is super convenient!

Really nice camp-comfortable beds, great kitchen, deck and lower area on the bayou. Grill, boil, fish fry all at your fingertips. Stayed 2 nights and will be back if it's not booked! Owners clearly take good care of this property!
