Pack light!

We had a pretty good stay in Les Gourdes. We totally underestimated how hard it would be to get luggage from our car (which was hard to park) to the villa. If we were to do it again, we would only have 1-2 light shoulder bags because rolling luggage was hard with the rocks and dog piles along the trail. The view was very nice from the balcony and we ate some good food. The market at the entrance of the village was very nice as well. We would have appreciated a few fans to help circulate the sea breeze.

Das Haus liegt sehr schön. Vom Balkon eine tolle Sicht über Les Goudes und Marseille im Hintergrund, Ausstattung alles was man braucht, Tolle kleine Terrasse vor dem Eingang (Achtung in der Hauptsaison laufen viele Tagesgäste vorbei) aber sie liegt nachmittags angenehm im Schatten-perfekt für August Wetter, Waschmaschine, Dorf ist perfekt zum Abendessen und Chillen- kleiner Shop im Dorf, aber viele Tagestouristen! Für Schnorchler perfekte Umgebung mit tollen kleinen Stellen zum ins Meer springen und kurzer Weg zum Strand hinter dem Haus inkl. wunderschönen Sonnenuntergängen! Parkplatzsituation mehr als schwierig-hatten unser Auto immer weit weg geparkt (öffentl. Parkplatz hinter dem Ort) somit war das Aus- u. Einladen vom Gepäck nicht einfach. Auch Ausflüge sind schwierig, da man sein Parkplatz nicht aufgibt, aber: wir hatten eine unvergessliche Woche und würden jederzeit wiederkommen! Traumhafte Unterwasserwelt! Perfekt für eine entschleunigte Woche und Kontakt zu vielen einheimischen Menschen- einfach großartig! Vielen Dank an den Gastgeber

Kurzurlaub zwischen Millionenstadt und Naturschutzgebiet

Viele schöne Stunden verbrachten wir auf dem Patio und dem Balkon. Die Sicht auf das pittoreske Fischerdorf und Marseille im Hintergrund war ganz grosses Kino. Leider ist das Dorf so schön, dass laufend neue Tagestouristen mit ihren Autos das Dorf überfluten und das Parkplatzproblem sichtbar machen. Der Zu- und Abgang zum Dorf ist aber mit einem Bus und einer Fähre nach Marseille perfekt organisiert und sehr günstig. Gleich hinter dem Haus beginnt der Nationalpark les Calanques und lädt zum Wandern ein. Grossartig! Ein kleiner Laden im Dorf der Stundenweise offen und diverse Restaurants sorgen für das leibliche Wohl.
