Great value in great location.

Juan was a gracious owner/manager. The unit is no frills but wasn’t lacking in the essentials. I loved Juan’s house (owned for 30 years and reflected a pride of ownership) and I loved the old school neighborhood.

Our stay at the Alhambra was very pleasant. This accommodation is ideal for those planning to explore all areas. With a rental car, we went to the Citadel Outlet, Disneyland, Crypto Arena, Santa Monica, and downtown in a relatively short time. Juan is always attentive to his guests and has no problem answering and advising. Thank you very much!

Comfortable and clean

We stayed here while doing renovations on our daughter’s home. It was very comfortable, clean and had all the essentials. It is very convenient to our dtr’s home and I’m sure we will be staying there in the future.

Great Long Weekend Stay

We were only in town for a few days, and this studio was a great place to call home base. Quiet neighborhood, except for the occasional birdsong. :) Many grocery options nearby, and a short walk to the bus stop (for those who refuse to drive in LA). Hot tip: if you’re staying in the Pasadena area, fly in to Burbank instead of LAX! We would absolutely stay again.

Bad experience because location was from verbo but was booked in Expedia and Expedia did not specify that check in instructions will be in verbo app which I never use . At arriving there was no contact info on Expedia no information nothing! I had to reserve another 200 dl night hotel. I will talk to Expedia to arrange a refund.

Quite, Clean & Comfortable

As advertised and exceptionally clean. Very close to shopping centers with Target, Costco, Aldi's and most importantly - Starbucks in every direction. Juan who owns the property is attentive and responsive. For my modest needs on business travel, this was a super fit.

Great home base

Was in town for a wedding and it was the perfect home base to return to after all the wedding activities. Very quiet and peaceful at night, incredibly comfy bed. Juan gave very clear check-in instructions. Late afternoon walk around the neighborhood was gorgeous. For shower, note the color markings on the wall, blue "C" is cold water. For accessibility, note there are a few steps to get to the entrance and a step to get into the bathroom, neighborhood is on a steep hill. 100% recommend Juan's studio!

Lovely area and property!!!

We had a wonderful time!!! The property was very beautiful and clean (the shower wasn’t the nicest but I’m also kind of picky about that), I liked how the host takes care of all of the dirty towels, trash, etc. at the end of the stay. Some of the lights in the house as well as the lock on the door were a bit finicky (i.e., light flickers a lot if you try to turn it on, lock would get stuck so you would have to enter code multiple times, but let it be known the lock ABSOLUTELY WORKED AND WAS 100% SECURE). We had a one-off issue with the water heater that was beautifully resolved by the host! Host was very responsive and, like I said, the property was beautiful and the area felt incredibly safe. I definitely recommend, it was 100% worth it!
