Three-story chalet, 6 bedrooms, 14 beds (+ 2 in the attic), 4 bathrooms.
Our chalet, built in 2004, is located in the private residential area of Le Chatelard, right in the heart of the ski slopes. Facing south, it offers an exceptional setting surrounded by nature, peaceful and on the edge of a small wood where you can see squirrels climbing the trees, yet very close to the center of Val d'Isère. The real mountains, right near the village. You can put on your skis 200 meters from the chalet and reach the ski lift roundabout in just a few minutes. Even children, accompanied by an adult, can easily get to their ski school. My 5-year-old grandson does it, and he loves it! A guaranteed change of scenery while remaining close to the center of Val d'Isère (a 15-minute walk!).
It's entirely made of wood and can accommodate up to 16 people in a very well-designed 180 m² space, filled with natural light.
You'll find 6 bedrooms, a living room, a dining room, an open-plan kitchen, and 4 bathrooms, as well as an attic converted into a children's playroom, and a laundry room with a washing machine and dryer. A boot warmer is available in the ski room.
I provide towels, linens, and Wi-Fi free of charge.
If you're coming by car, you can park on the slopes, or there's a covered parking lot (for a fee) next to the Aqua Sportif Center. If you don't ski, like me, you'll have the sunniest pedestrian promenade in the resort right in front of you. Strolling through the Manchet Valley, you'll see skiers descending from Bellevarde on the Santons or Tour du slopes. Charvet, on the other hand, skiers descend from Solaise, paragliders soar in the sky, and you can enjoy a mulled wine at "Bout du Monde" (End of the World). You can also take a ride with the sled dogs. On rainy days, children can play, swim, or splash around in the large pool at the Aqua Sportif center, or for sports enthusiasts, there's another pool for swimming laps or the very well-equipped fitness rooms. Relaxation is also important, with a hammam and saunas at the Aqua Sportif center... In the evening, for a party, "La Doudoune" is just a few minutes' walk away, as is the restaurant L'Etincelle. Le Chatelard is an exceptional place in Val d'Isère, offering peace and quiet, magnificent mountain views, and yet it's close to the village, a fifteen-minute walk. I even push the stroller with the youngest children there; there's also a free shuttle. In the center of Val d'Isère, you'll find the finest shops to equip yourself or treat yourself. You can easily do your shopping at the central supermarket and We can deliver your groceries. In the evening, by a cozy crackling fire in the fireplace, you can recount your skiing exploits while enjoying a well-deserved aperitif and admire the torchlight descent down the "Face de Bellevarde" or the fireworks displays launched weekly by the tourist office. For equipment rental, we recommend "Sport Shop" on the snow front; if you mention us, Jean-Marc might give you a small discount.
Our family continues to grow, so we've built another small chalet, adjoining our main chalet (listing 8548934) but completely independent. We can now accommodate up to 22 people: 16 in the main chalet and 6 in the smaller one.
