About this property

Charming monumental vacation home/3 bedrooms/3 bathrooms/6 beds/sauna/roof terrace

The house was built in 1911 and is one of the oldest houses on Borkum. After two years of extensive core renovation, a charming, listed building with 3.30 m high ceilings and modern, high-quality furnishings is now available in 2014.

The house has been awarded with **** stars according to the DTV classification.

3 bedrooms each with an adjacent bathroom (toilet & rain shower). A sauna on the ground floor. A large, open kitchen where even cooking while on vacation is fun. High chair, cot and changing mat are available for our little guests. All floors are made of real wood or tiles. The entire house has underfloor heating. On the roof terrace you can enjoy the view of the lighthouse. You can have a wonderful barbecue on the sheltered terrace. You can store your bikes in the lockable bike shed. A small handcart is available.

Quiet, but very central location. Within walking distance to the beach and the center. A bakery is diagonally across the street.

Unfortunately pets are not allowed in our house. I ask for your understanding.

Insgesamt waren wir super zufrieden. Ein paar Kleinigkeiten gibt es jedoch anzumerken:- die Küchenschränke sind etwas abgenutzt, die Schiebetüren schließen sich von selbst - die Küchenmesser sind mittlerweile alle Stumpf- der Kühlschrank hat kein Eisfach- leider gibt es keinen KfZ Stellplatz am Haus- im Inserat stand „Whirlpool“ - scheint wohl ein Fehler zu sein, jedenfalls gabs den nicht. - Es ist zwar ein Treppenschutzgitter für Kleinkinder vorhanden, leider fehlt daran eine Schraube sodass dieses nur mit Gefummel genutzt werden konnte. - es gibt leider keine Insektenschutzgitter an den Fenstern. Unsere Tochter hatte nach der zweiten Nacht 12 Mückenstiche zu den positiven Dingen:- Tolle Lage, von dort aus kurze Wege ins Dorf und an den Strand. - Becker schräg gegenüber - Sauna sehr erholsam- geräumiges Wohnzimmer- separates Esszimmer- kleiner Schuppen für Fahrräder und Bollerwagen etc. - von der Dachterasse Blick auf den neuen Leuchtturm- 3 Bäder en-Suite - Münz-Waschmaschine und TrocknerGesamteindruck: insgesamt sehr schöne Unterkunft, mit dem Auto jedoch nur eingeschränkt zu erreichen (rote Zone) und kein Stellplatz am Haus.

Das Haus ist super zentral gelegen, man kann alles sehr gut zu Fuß erreichen. Genug Platz für eine große Familie. Wir hätten uns vielleicht normale große Kopfkissen gewünscht; weil wir es nicht gewohnt sind auf kleinen Kopfkissen zu schlafen. Aber das ist sicher Geschmackssache. ;-) sonst waren wir sehr zufrieden und haben uns wohl gefühlt.

Kurzurlaub Borkum

Schönes, großzügiges, geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Haus in ruhiger Lage. Fußweg 4-10 Minuten bis zum Zentrum. Gute Restaurants fußläufig zu erreichen.Bei Bedarf war Frau Nave immer zu erreichen

Absolut tolle Unterkunft

Absolut tolle Unterkunft mit gehobener Einrichtung lässt keine Wünsche offen. Für eine Reise mit Kindern gut geeignet und an liebevolle Details wie Kinderstuhl, Kinderspielzeug und Bücher gedacht. Sehr sauber. Neue Matratzen. Freundlicher Kontakt zur Eigentümerin. Regeln sind konkret vereinbart, finde ich super denn so ist sichergestellt, dass es im Nachgang keine Unstimmigkeiten gibt. Sollten wir wieder nach Borkum reisen, dann nur in diese Unterkunft.

Haus zum Wohlfühlen

Wir haben den Aufenthalt im Haus Inselschatz sehr genossen. Die Lage ist ruhig aber dennoch ist man in wenigen Gehminuten im Ortszentrum bzw. am Südstrand. Das Haus selbst ist ein denkmalgeschützter Bau mit landestypischem Flair und wurde mit viel Liebe zum Detail von den Eigentümern renoviert und eingerichtet. Wir waren sicher nicht zum letzten Mal hier.

Der Inselschatz lässt keine Wünsche für einen entspannten Urlaub auf Borkum offen. Kurze Wege in die Innenstadt und zum Südstrand. Angenehmer Kontakt mit der Vermieterin. Wir würden uns wieder für dieses Haus entscheiden

Wirklich ein Schatz

Oft ist es ja so, dass Bilder in Inseraten und Realität nicht ganz zusammenpassen, hier war es auch so - das Haus ist in Wirklichkeit noch viel schöner 🤩 Wir hatten jedenfalls eine wunderschöne Zeit in einem perfekt ausgestatteten Ferienhaus. Noch dazu ist die Lage ideal: ruhig, aber man ist dennoch gleich in der Stadt oder am Strand und für die morgendlichen Brötchen gibt es einen kleinen Bäcker direkt gegenüber.

Sehr hübsches und gemütliches Haus

Die Wohnung ist sehr geschmackvoll gestaltet, mit dem separaten Esszimmer und dem großzügigen, hellen, gemütlichen Wohnzimmer kann man auch Schlechtwettertage sehr gut aushalten. Die Lage ist perfekt. Die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern sehr angenehm. Die Matratzen sind für empfindliche Menschen etwas hart.

Schöne Zeit auf Borkum

Wir waren eine Woche im Haus, das wirklich rundherum super ausgestattet ist, es fehlte an nichts. Gleich gegenüber der Bäcker, ins Zentrum oder zum Meer nur wenige Schritte! Es waren sogar Spiele und Bücher da! Absolute Weiterempfehlung!

Tolles Haus, super Lage!

Familienurlaub mit 3 Kindern

Zunächst einmal herzlichen Dank für den sehr angenehmen Kontakt, die unkomplizierte Organisation und eine sehr schöne Unterkunft! Wir haben den Urlaub in dem großzügigen und hervorragend ausgestatteten Haus sehr genossen. Die Nähe zum Südstrand, zu zwei Spielplätzen, zur Innenstadt und zum Bäcker gegenüber waren weitere große Pluspunkte, die wir natürlich genutzt haben. Fazit: Sehr zu empfehlen!
