You and your companionns are also mobile without a car, because Oberrieden railway station is just a 2-minute walk away from the apartment, with connections every half hour to Zürich (in 16 min.) and Zug (in 24 min.).

Escape the city noise at this quiet 2nd floor location with a stunning view of the lake, with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, a balcony, private laundry room, private storage space and a shared garden.

You can also use the pavilion, a self-contained and quiet building in the garden with its own crockery e.g. for barbecues. Imagine yourself relaxing quietly, playing music or chatting to visitors.

On arrival you will get a detailed visitor guide in English to help you find your way around.

Supermarkets, Restaurant, Pizzeria and a pub are all on Oberrieden's main street ("Alte Landstrasse") , which is easily accessible by car. On weekends and In the summer there are two restaurants at the lakeside, a short walk down to hill from the apartment.

On Sundays (when most shops in Switzerland except at railway stations are closed) there is a small supermarket at Oberrieden Dorf and a large one immediately at the platform in Zürich Enge station (15 min by train). The real-time timetable for all public transport in Switzerland shows in the SBB app (SBB = Swiss Federal Railways).

The lake ship quay with all year service to Zürich and Rapperswil is within close walking distance and the tickets are interchangeable with the railway. As the ships have both restaurant and bar services, why not relax with a meal or drink while cruising up and down the lake?

Enjoy the nearby lake swimming facility (with crystal clear water) and grill, which is also nearby and open in the summer.
