About this property

Our family has been dreaming of having a getaway close to home that feels like we are somewhere special. This summer we got to do just that and we want to share it with you!
Whether you want to have a cozy family getaway (Fischer Fun Park is a quick drive and boasts both Handicap-accessible and Sensory equipment), a golf outing with friends (we have an 18 hole course onsite) or to enjoy a fun spa weekend (Woodhouse Day Spa is just a 10 min drive away), Woodson Bend Resort is a beautiful place that offers all that and more. Our condo is updated and I've worked hard to make it cozy and comfortable.
The master has a king-size bed with an ensuite bath and the kid's bunk room has two sets of bunks with twins on top and full-size beds on the bottom. Twinkle lights add to the fun for littles and grown ups alike! We also have a second full bath in the hallway for your convenience.
The living room has a big sectional sofa so that you and your family and snuggle up and watch movies after a day on the golf course, on the lake or seasonally at the pool.
The kitchen has stainless steel appliances and all the amenities that you need to enjoy your time away including a gas grill on the patio.
We provide coffee for you to enjoy each morning on the screened-in porch and watch the deer and birds in the beautiful wooded surroundings.
Grab some cold beverages from our convenient mini-fridge to root on your favorite team with our newly added outdoor TV! Fall is a gorgeous time to enjoy the beautiful leaves and scenery.
We share pickle ball racquets and balls to enjoy on our on our brand-new, beautiful courts, as well as other games that include a 4 foot Jenga set and a custom-made wooden tic tac toe.

Another great stay at Woodson Bend

This is our third year staying in this beautiful condo. It is very well equipped and comfortable. If you are coming to Lake Cumberland, I would highly recommend this unit.

Updated and clean!

We really enjoyed our stay! It was exceptionally clean and the property is updated. We cooked a lot and were also impressed with all the kitchen supplies they had available for us to use. We would definitely stay here again!

It was great place to stay. The kitchen is very well stocked. The screen porch is wonderful. The kids loved the pool and playground. It was very quiet relaxing.

Great Condo Complex

Nicely remodeled condo in a beautiful and secure complex with a lot of activities included within its property. It is on the lake and very close to ramps. The golf course is beautiful. I would stay here again.

My husband and our two kiddos fell in love with Woodson Bend a few years ago. As you might imagine it was so nice to be able to drive about an hour from our Lexington, KY home and feel like we were in another state. We are excited to share our little slice of heaven with you!

Why they chose this property

Why Woodson Bend? While looking for a vacation place around Lake Cumberland we wanted a place that would have something for everyone to do. Woodson Bend has so many amenities that we can all be here for a week or longer and not get bored. Golf for my husband and I, pool for our kids, we can jump over to one of the area marina's and rent a boat for the day, and one of the best things is the security. I can let my children out to play in the playground, play tennis etc. and not worry about them. You have to be staying in the resort and go through the security to get in. That gives me peace of mind since my kids don't want to stay right on top of mom and dad these days.
