Appartement parfait, très propre et bien exposé ! Une belle terrasse avec barbecue et une superbe vue ! Très calme malgré la proximité des brebis et des vaches. Nous sommes restés 2 nuits dans ce gîte entouré de magnifiques paysages. Ce fût très reposant et l'idéal avec des enfants jeunes, et pour découvrir tranquillement le Pays Basque. Nos hôtes ont été adorables et très réactifs. Nous reviendrons.

Bien situé pour des vacances paisibles et randonnées

La vue du logement est magnifique. Les propriétaires accueillants, la ferme et le troupeau de chevres de l'autre côté de la route. La situation geographique nous a permis de visiter la Rhune, Hendaye, St Jean Pied de port... La base de loisirs du Baigura est juste à quelques kms avec petit "train" pour aller au sommet du meme nom, parapente, ... Helette est un village tres etendu et je vous recommande de demander les coordonnees gps car l'adresse n'etait pas connue de nos gps et peu de reseau pour appeler.

La maison n'est pas très facile à trouver ; le petit chemin d'accès en bord de route est mal indiqué. La maison est propre et située dans tranquille en campagne. Les propriétaires sont très gentils et accueillants. Nous y retournerons certainement l'année prochaine pour un plus long séjour.

Repos loin des foules

Une famille accueillante dans une une ferme en exploitation où ça travaille dur ! On est dans l'authentique, sans chichis ni faire-semblants. L'emplacement est parfait pour des randonnées faciles dans les massifs environnants mais un peu éloigné des premiers supermarchés dignes de ce nom. La voiture est malheureusement indispensable d'autant qu'il n'y a pas de vélos à disposition. La maison de pays est bien isolée, propre, avec une vue imprenable et une entrée indépendante donnant sur un jardinet puis un champ en contrebas. Le mobilier et la literie sont fatigués et ont fait leur temps. L'équipement cuisine-salle de bain est un peu disparate mais suffit à un court séjour sans prétentions gastronomiques . Le WIFI est très insuffisant, probablement car la box est dans le logement contigu des propriétaires et peine à transmettre en l'absence d'un répétiteur. La bergerie très proche offre une atmosphère pittoresque et authentique dont le bruit du compresseur dès le matin fait parti. On finit par s'y habituer mais ça rompt un peu le calme environnant. Dommage ...On reviendra malgré tout chez ces hôtes discrets, prévenants et fiers de leur beau métier !
