This property is in need of some serious repairs. Shower didn't work downstairs, door handles fell off in upstairs bathroom, ceiling leaks in kitchette area, the outdoor entry was covered with debris, when it rained the kitchenette area flooded, the oven had to be cleaned before we used it, the ice maker did not work on the refrigerator, too much more to tell...

Great Summer Getaway on the Lake!!

We loved this spacious house on the lake. We had lots of fun playing a family game of kickball in the huge yard. The kids and adults loved doing a little fishing off the dock before taking the boat out on the lake.

Great Family Vacation

We had a wonderful time here! The house is large and spread out with lots of different spaces to hang out! We had a puzzle going in the parlor room, game night in the dining room, Xbox relay in the living room, and ping pong tournament happening upstairs! You can also olay a pretty solid game if hide n seek here! The kitchen is fully stocked and great for cooking! Having the dock in our line of sight worked out perfectly. We had a couple of teens who love fishing and they practically lived down at the dock! We had a significant storm while staying there and we were able to race down and secure the boat quickly as well. The owners are super quick to respond to questions and we were so thankful for that. Just a note there is absolutely no cell signal at the house but the internet works great! We enjoyed going antique shopping all over the area and the Blues Landing Restaurant in Buchanan was amazing! It really is a fantastic retreat for a large, water loving, family!

Elegant Lake Home

This home was set up perfectly for our extended family to celebrate our son’s graduation from Murray State. My communication with the owners was quick and helpful. We enjoyed a wonderful stay.

Hosted by Kris and Carol

Carol and I met on 2014 and married in 2016. We are both career focused as I am in the tech industry and Carol is an officer in the Army. I am from the Nashville area and Carol grew up in Charleston, SC. Currently we live outside Austin, TX as Carol is based at Fort Hood, TX. We have two dogs, Sir Edward (Dachshund) and the recent addition King Henry (Miniature Goldendoodle). I also spend a good amount of time in the Nashville area for my job. We love real estate and hosting guest and providing a great experience that they will cherish for a lifetime.

Why they chose this property

We have multiple short term rental properties and realized we loved the lake life. In our search for lake property we found this beauty in KY which was designed like a home in Charleston, SC, where Carol grew up. We were sold!

What makes this property unique

The space is great for multiple families coming together. The rooms are nice and big an plenty of gathering spaces to spend time together while being comfortable. The primary suite is just awesome with huge space, including a large sitting area and enormous bathroom. It also has small balconies and a view of the lake. The yard is great leading down to the lake. It is gently rolling down and is easy for all to walk down to the lake versus having steep hills to go up and down. There is plenty of room in the yard for playing many outdoor games/sports like croquet, kickball, or football. The area is so peaceful and quiet. It is the perfect retreat!
