The location is excellent, offering superb access to Denver, I-25, and the mountains. The neighborhood is fantastic, and the property is aesthetically appealing, especially with fall foliage. For a short stay of 1–3 nights, especially when the pool is open, this rental is likely satisfactory. However, we do not recommend this unit for long-term, especially if you have a pet, due to the following issues encountered during our three-week stay:Cleanliness & Condition: The unit was extremely dirty upon arrival, requiring a significant cleaning effort (including the washing machine). Furniture is noticeably old and worn. Kitchen supplies are minimal and lack basic long-term necessities like a can opener.Storage: Storage is severely limited. There are no dressers, so we stored our clothes using the 1.5 ft of hanging space, the bookcase, and the top of the file cabinet.Wi-Fi: The Wi-Fi speeds were consistently under 10 Mbps, making remote work, video conferencing, and on-camera tasks impossible, despite the owner assuring us he had "great wifi".Pet Use: The designated dog relief area requires an 80-yard walk in complete darkness (no lighting) to the river. Bring a flashlight!Monitoring: The owner monitors the property via cameras but didn't disclose this fact.Future guests planning an extended stay should be prepared for significant cleaning, inadequate storage, and poor internet access. Would recommend looking elsewhere. We would not rent here again.
