About Nitzi Rabin
We own and run a Fine DIning restaurant, bistro & bar on Cape Cod from May to Dec. and while very near the beach we never get to go. We move to Vail Colorado in the winter where our children attended school & ski raced. We love Mexico, have been visiting various areas for 30 years, and this is a quick hop from Denver. We have a number of friends from Colorado with houses in the area and enjoy getting together with them in Mexico for our "Beach Retreat" Our "Kids" now grown, and grand baby love to come down and surf & explore, taking the trip to the Marietas for snorkeling ar going out to the various favorite restaurants in the area. They've been going alone since high school as the area is perfectly safe...
Nitzi Rabin purchased this Villa in 2000
Why Nitzi Rabin chose San Francisco
It is very easy to fly into Puerto Vallarta... we have many friends who had purchased in the area, and more have done so since we bought. The area is serene, yet only 40 minutes from P.V. when we want a bit of the city. But within 10 minutes by foot there is fabulous fishing, golf, galleries & restaurants, OR, we can just hang out on the deck and read.... The town is small and the people warm and welcoming, looking out for each other, supportive of the school & library. There is virtually no crime... a safe haven. Consider packing an extra bag with gently used clothing &/or books for the children's library, soccer balls!!!
What makes this Villa unique
Complete tranquility/serenity, privacy in a beautiful setting, yet with restaurants, galleries and beach activities moments away... when you choose. Once we walked down the steps and opened the door to the great room opening to the deck with magnificent views of the beach & ocean we were sold! The deck is the soul of the house, we read, dine; breakfast lunch & dinner, sunbathe, watch whales pass just off the beach, it is captivating

Spectacular view! Huge space. A bit of a walk from town, and an exciting climb up to the house!
The terrace here is spectacular and the house is very spacious and well equipped. Having a car is helpful if you want to get into town a lot, which you do because that's where all the restaurants are. It's about a 15 minute walk along the beach and longer if you take the roads. And the road up to the villa is steep, twisty and narrow - and it was made more challenging when we were there because there's construction going on along the way, and we had to negotiate around that in areas where there's not much room to negotiate. If you're walking, it's a steep but manageable climb - just stop and admire the view as you catch your breath. The house itself is fine, but to be honest, a little tired. It needs a bit of TLC. But we enjoyed ourselves, and loved the view which was magnificent at all times of day, but especially at sunset. Communication with the owners was great and Edouardo, who met us and guided us up the hill was very helpful. There was no package of information about do's and don'ts, but fortunately we didn't have many questions, and it all worked out fine. For us, the main downside was that we would've preferred to be a bit closer to town.
Great View and great value.
Great place to stay! Huge patio, perfect view, as you can see in pictures, the decor is not fancy but it is a great value for the price. Enjoyed our stay. Owner and house manager responded right away to any emails.
Thank you so much for your lovely response!! We, of course, love the house but never get enough time there as we're in Vail for the winter: we should consider renting Vail and offsetting Mexico so we can spend more time there!! Thank you for taking the time to send a note!! Pat & Nitzi!
