The outside of the house and the garden are very charming. The interior of the house is somewhat messy and outdated and worn down. It did not bother us. However the cleaning of the house could have been better.
Location and garden were very good. Not enough toilets for a possible 8 people staying at the property. No toilet in the main bathroom which needed a full makeover. Kitchen not big enough for a possible 8 people. Care needed going up the spiral staircase. The property did not reflect the amount we paid. We would have expected
something special. On the whole the property was tired & would benefit from a good makeover.

Beautiful property on great location but...
We visited Mas de Jalique for the third year in a row. It is just wonderful to have such a beautiful house and property on walking distance of Isle de la Sorgue. That's why we return. But with raising the prices every year, you might expect that a part of this increase would be invested in the equipment, the cleanliness and comfort for the guests. This year several swimming pool sofa's, parasols, lamps and the dishwasher were not in shape. The dishwasher and 2 parasols were finally replaced but you don't want to spent energy on those kind of things on vacation. Make sure that the investment and stiff rental price is worth every penny and that you don't have to go to the supermarket to buy 8 identical wineglasses, clothespins and kitchen towels yourself.
So, great location but...energy and money should be spent to keep this place value for money.
