Introducing 1185 Beach Walker, a fantastic oceanfront 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom condo in the Amelia Island Plantation that has just been beautifully remodeled! This delightful rental makes the perfect beach getaway - simply step out the back door onto your own private patio that leads straight to the beach and renovated complex pool!

Our newly-updated condo is tastefully appointed and comes with a fully equipped kitchen, a washer and dryer in the unit, high-speed WiFi, and TVs and a DVD player. When needed, there's also a sleeper sofa in the living room.

Enjoy excellent shopping and dining opportunities nearby or in the historic downtown of Fernandina Beach, just a 20-minute drive north! The gated Amelia Island Plantation (AIP) is a beloved 1,340-acre paradise that is surrounded by maritime forests, tidal salt marshes and pristine, sandy beaches. Dining, shopping, and spa services are offered at the Omni Amelia Island Resort, located within the AIP.

The Beach Walker complex is a sought-after area within AIP, and this villa is located in the "up front" buildings, with the best views and closest beach access. Guests enjoy access to the spacious, renovated Beach Walker complex pool that is just a short walk away. This pool offers a large deck, covered gazebos, bathrooms, and a community grilling area.

Tour operators on island offer kayak excursions, sailing trips, boat rides, paddle board lessons, deep sea fishing, and more. Guests can also find award-winning golf courses, bike/golf cart rentals, tennis clinics, and surfing lessons nearby.

As part of this rental, a custom digital guidebook is provided with thorough property information and our local area guide sharing favorite restaurants, attractions, and more! Excitingly, our guests are also eligible to receive a 15% discount on beach gear rentals.

*Please note there are stairs required both inside and outside the unit, and the walk from the parking lot may be more challenging for some.

**Only dogs are considered and they must be approved by management. There are size and breed restrictions, and guests must agree to certain terms and conditions. A $150 nonrefundable pet fee per dog will be required and guests must sign the pet agreement. If the pet fee is not automatically applied at booking, it will be after the reservation is created. Note that dogs must be current on all vaccinations, be house broken, be spayed or neutered, and must be sociable with people and other dogs. No cats or other pets will be considered.

***Please be advised this private property is not a rental through the Omni Amelia Island Resort and does not give you access to "resort privileges or amenities” (i.e. the main Omni hotel pool, fitness center or shuttle service), and Racquet Park is limited only to club members and their guests. We will gladly answer any questions about area activities and our amenities!

Great place, great location, very clean

We loved this property. Location to the beach and other island amenities was wonderful. Beach chairs inside were a huge help as well. The place was very clean, and nicely decorated, def made us feel as though we were on vacation. Would def stay here again.

Beautiful condo. Love the open concept of the living area and the kitchen and like how the bedrooms are downstairs. Only complaint would be the distance from the parking lot to the condo itself. Carrying cases of water and luggage gave us a workout and glad we are in shape. BUT, I still would rent this place 1,000 more times. Loved the walkout to the boardwalk and the beach and pool are in close proximity to the condo. Bedrooms are so roomy and master shower is gorgeous. We visit yearly and will definitely rent again.

Nice Amelia Island stay.

Great location. Not quite as nice as it should be for price. For 500 a night the guest shower should drain well and there should not be mold in master shower. Just my opinion.

We did not find mold in either shower but out of an abundance of caution, our housekeeping team spent extra time in those areas and attending to the drains. In the future, please don't hesitate to reach out to us and we'll gladly help in any way we can. As for pricing, we appreciate your honest feedback. We take great care to set competitive rates compared to other neighboring properties (we see your nightly rate was only $288 plus taxes and fees, and most are $350 at this time of year) but we will take this into consideration. Amelia Retreat

This property is newly renovated and tastefully done. It’s location is wonderful- the views of the water are magnificent and it’s a quick walk to the beach. The condo is very clean and bed is comfortable. We will definitely return!

Beautiful property!

This was our first time staying on Amelia Island and we weren't quite sure which area to stay in. I am so glad that we chose this unit and the Omni Resort location. The unit was very, very nice and everything was very clean. The pool is incredibly and made you feel like you were at a Caribbean resort. My husband and I loved all the walking trails throughout the area and looked forward to our walks every morning. We will most definitely return to this 5 star property.

Spectacular view & Lovely accommodations

Accommodations were as shown & thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I will caution that cannot use Mapquest as property in private subdivision & a little cumbersome to find. Additionally, I had wanted a ground floor due to disability however a bit of distance from where parked to unit with stairs.

Beautiful Condo

The Condo was very clean and comfortable. Everything felt updated and new. The outside yard and patio were perfect for our family. I could only give 4 stars because the parking and way to get to the condo were not as pictured. My husband and I (both in our sixties) arrived two days earlier than the rest of our family and we struggled to get luggage and groceries to the condo. For that reason only, we could not stay here again. It was a beautiful place for the young and physically fit!

Amazing place! But; BEWARE OF STAIRS; NOT GROUND LEVEL

I’ll start off by saying that this condo was absolutely amazing. It’s extremely clean, beautifully decorated, and in the perfect location. It was really well stocked and the access to the beach and pool were very convenient. However; the listing is quite misleading. It was stated in the description that this was ground level, it is not. From the parking lot, you walk up a slight 50 yard incline to the stairs. Then there are 16 stairs to get to the front door. We chose this property because it said ground level. Once inside, there are about 8 or so stairs down to the kitchen and living room, then 4 or 5 more down into the bedrooms and bathrooms. There are no stairs to the beach except for the stairs to the sand off the boardwalk, but there are very high stairs (like 10-15) up to the pool. We chose this property because a member of our party is pregnant and has an easier time with ground level properties at the moment. Otherwise, if you are in shape and don’t have accessibility needs, this place is amazing. It was so fun to see the tortoises in the dunes and the wildlife everywhere. Again, very clean and would stay here again when able to!!

As for your other comments, we are sincerely sorry that you thought the listing was misleading due to the stairs. Our listing photos do show the interior stairs in multiple images, and the boardwalk to the pool is photographed as well, featuring many stairs. At this time, our real estate photographer has not provided images of the walkway from the parking lot to the front door, but you are correct there are some stairs involved. This is perhaps the only downside of being in the "up front" Beach Walker buildings, which are still more sought-after since they have the closest beach access. Technically our condo is still considered "ground-level" because it opens to the ground off the main living area and guests can walk off that back patio straight to the ocean. Again, we are sorry for any confusion and see how additional imagery could help. We invite any travelers wondering about accessibility to reach out, as we certainly do not want to misguide anyone. Great Unit for the Active Vacationer

A lovely newly renovated unit with a fantastic view of the breaking waves and beach- you really feel you are at the beach-only drawback to this unit is the three levels with two internal stairwells- my wife has problems with her back and this was a definite drawback. All of the units at these buildings are only for those who can easily climb stairs and hike.
