Gîte de charme - The 16th-century Mas L'Essenchaou

A unique and quiet charming cottage in the heart of lush nature invites you to real moments of relaxation. It is located 20 minutes from Vals-les-Bains, a spa resort that offers multiple amenities. Within the Monts d'Ardèche Regional Nature Park, you will enjoy: rivers, hiking, canyoning, mountain biking and cultural visits as well as many leisure activities. Come and marvel at a magnificent view of the Tanargue at the Col de Juvinas, located 450 m walk from the cottage.

The cottage "La Clède" is a private outbuilding that is part of the farmhouse. Its surface area is 40m2 spread over 2 floors (ground floor and one floor accessible by a staircase). It can accommodate 2 people. The cottage is composed of a bedroom upstairs with a double bed (160X200). In the courtyard, you will have access to a private terrace with a table, a barbecue, 4 chairs and a parasol as well as private access to the common areas.

The common areas are composed of a swimming pool, sun loungers and parasol, garden furniture covered by an arbour located on a stone terrace overlooking the pool, a petanque court, green spaces, a vegetable garden, two fish ponds and an area with a dining table. A vaulted cellar also includes a laundry room and toilets.

Our farmhouse is part of Juvinas, a charming and authentic little Ardèche village located in the Monts d'Ardèche Regional Natural Park. The cottages are at an altitude of 674m and only 450m walk from the mythical Col de Juvinas appeared in the television show "Echappées belles" on the Ardèche (2022).
