Close to UA, Downtown, 4th Ave, street car, San Augustine, TCC, Cathedral, shopping, restaurants. This has many upgrades while still holding its vintage charm. It has an open-floor plan and split bedroom plan. When you first walk into this charmer, you will be walking on original hardwood floor from the 20`s. The fireplace is made of A-mountain volcanic lava rock. Relax in the original claw- foot tub next to the two adorable vintage bedrooms. Walk through to modern and spacious kitchen, master bedroom with walk- in closet, and comfortable laundry room with newer washer/dryer.

Enjoy the beautiful Arizona sunsets and weather (most of the year) from the well-lit back yard while BBQing on the gas grill and lounging in the patio furniture or soak in the spa conveniently located just outside the main bedroom exterior doors.

Or you can take a stroll down the paved sidewalks through the charming neighborhood to trendy 4th Avenue or to University Drives Main Gate Square to enjoy restaurants, cafes, and shopping. Walk/bike/drive to downtown just a few minutes farther for more options. If the mood calls for staying indoors, enjoy the provided access to subscriptions such as Netflix, Hulu, Disney Plus, HBO Max, and Amazon Prime all included. You can have your choice of world famous culinary options nearby or choose to stay and cook on the fully equipped kitchen or the gas grill under the covered patio, additional amenities include a purified drinking water system and soft water for cleaner and fresher showers.

Fantastic location and house, Janet the host was a responsive and helpful.The back yard with a grill, sofa and hot-tub are the highlights but every aspect of the house was great. I felt safe in the neighborhood, the driveway was spacious, the amenities are in great condition and it's a really relaxing and beautiful home away from home.

Cozy Tucson Spot

This was a peaceful and cozy home that had everything we needed. Kitchen was well equipped (we didn’t need much but especially appreciated the k-cups and full coffee station). We struggle with sleeping in other beds but surprisingly slept soooo comfortably! Very convenient to UofA campus and nearby restaurants. We will definitely book here again.

Big rooms, but cozy house!

I was surprised by how big the rooms were, especially for an older house. It was quiet and comfortable. We loved the big dining table and gravitated to it to play board games. The location near campus was perfect near my son's dorm (easy 10 minute walk) and also easy to get around from there. The host was responsive when I had questions.

Great location if you are visiting U of A students! I highly recommend this house for your next stay in Tucson. Safe, spacious, and dependable. Clean! Electrical outlets working! Perfect House!

I stayed here for 5 nights with my daughters (aged 10 and 14) and my elderly parents. It was a wonderful house. The kitchen is well-stocked for a rental property, the dining room table was big enough to seat 6 comfortably, and the entire house was just lovely. Beds were comfortable and had nice linens. Bathrooms were nice and had nice supplies and touches. We didn't enjoy the outdoors because of the weather (a bit cold/rainy for most of the time) but the backyard looked peaceful and had a lot of space. Communication with the host was super easy and fast.

Great location made visiting U of A easy

My family of 6 were in town for graduation weekend. We were in very close proximity to campus and our son’s apartment which made the weekend easy. House was very clean and well maintained. The beds were comfortable and well appointed. I had hoped the kitchen was a bit better stocked with larger pots so that cooking for our group was easier. There was no food storage or gas for the bbq. However, we would stay here again, if we ever found ourselves in Tucson again. Janet our host was so responsive to our requests and very friendly. Overall, great home.

Great proximity to UofA

We were in town with our teenagers for a UofA tour. Property is about .5 miles from the campus, and we enjoyed walking everywhere we needed to go. We had a slight snafu with some used undies that were left behind and somehow missed by the housecleaner. That was a little unsettling, but we were able to resolve with the homeowner. Loved the backyard and the front porch macrame chair. Property had many nice thoughtful touches like soap and lotions in each bathroom, coffee/tea in the kitchen. It was a short stay, but we found it had all that we needed.

Why they chose this property

This property is very unique in that it is over 100 years old and sits in an old historic neighborhood. The property has been updated but continues to hold a vintage charm. The split floor plan is ideal for larger families with 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom on one side of the house, and the main bedroom and bathroom on the opposite end of the house. The cozy fireplace is made up of volcanic rock from A mountain. The floor is the original hardwood floor from the '20s and the clawfoot tub in the hallway bathroom is original to the house as well.

What makes this property unique

It has quite a bit of on-site parking and street parking with a provided parking permit. The large yard is wonderful for gatherings, children, and or pets. It is very close to all of the wonderful things Tucson has to offer such as food, culture, art, and the yearly Gem and Mineral Show!
