Lovely location in the small village of Sailhan near Saint Lary Soulan. The property is on the main road through the village which can be busy with traffic going up the Col d’Azet and also many hikers and walkers using the trails nearby and walking by. The check-in process was very easy with great messages from the host for accessing the lock box and how to find things. There was a very useful laminated information card in the property which has the WiFi password on it, all very easy and the WiFi was great, very fast indeed and almost as good as we get at home, I could get 600mbps on my iPad which made catching up with the Tour de France very easy whilst we were there. The local area is brilliant for cycling, some lesser known climbs from those on the other side of the Tourmalet but we’ve done those to death, definitely worth staying in the area for some newer routes.
