Another lovely weekend at the cottage! Shannon is an excellent host and the property is very charming. Good amount of wildlife around and just so relaxing. We are already planning our next trip back!

My husband and I rented Shannon’s cabin for our anniversary and it was amazing! It was so peaceful and the river along the cabin to fish in was perfect! We had everything we needed! Shannon was a great host it was so nice to relax and unplug for the weekend

More than we thought when we got there. Very peaceful and quiet, just what we were looking for. Very simple and comfortable, back to basics. Sitting on the porch was our favorite, quite and relaxing. Wonderful getaway trip! Shannon was super helpful and made our stay very comfortable and accommodating. The cottage is great, doesn’t have all the bells and whistles of a new gen place, but it has what you need and offers peace & relaxation.

Exactly what we were looking for! My son picked this spot out for a little mom-son get away. He loved the fishing right out the front door, being able to walk around the property, the wildlife, and even found a new favorite game (Chinese checkers) that was available at the cabin. The host Shannon was very communicative and we would love to come back again.

If you love nature, peace and quiet, and rustic environments, you will love this little cabin in the woods. My girlfriends and I had a nice retreat from technology, traffic noise, and the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We saw numerous deer, turkey, & birds. There is some dust, and a spider or two, so skip this place if that is a problem for you. There is a ceiling fan over the double bed, but bring a fan if you like moving air for the twin beds in the front room. Shannon is very responsive and kind. I will definitely come back in the fall when it is cooler to get my “back to nature fix.”

Very clean, excellent customer service, Shannon was able to work with me on the date I preferred to stayed for a weekend. I highly recommend a weekend at this property and I will absolutely rent again for years to come! My family absolutely enjoyed their time here!
