Bring the entire family and spread out in this spacious six bedroom home that sits overlooking the beautiful "Caribbean of the Rockies", Bear Lake! This property has five bedrooms and 4 1/2 baths in the main home with another bedroom and bathroom in above the detached garage. Their are several bunk beds that all the grandkids will enjoy on your families next vacation. The property is located in Idaho just over the Utah boarder, which is nice and quite and less crowded. Its is only a ten minute drive to the action in Garden City or to the very popular Idaho North Beach State Park. After a long day of fun on the lake come back and soak in the brand new hot tub while enjoying the vast view of the lake or have a billiards or ping pong tournament in the basement family room. At night you might enjoy the movie room with theater style setting. If you are not at the beach you can play croquet or volleyball in the large yard. The ideas of things to do at this property and the surrounding area are endless.

Excellent spot for family reunion

We raves about this location all week. There generation family reunion and attendees of all ages were happy. Plenty of beds and floor space, loved having the loft above the shop to accommodate our group. We meet any and this was probably the best stocked kitchen and having access to the extra fridge in the garage made it very nice. Loved the huge dining room table, deck and front yard views were amazing looking over the lake, check-in & departure processes we’re simple. We had s guest with limited mobility, but with the master bed & bath on the main floor, they only had to navigate about 5 steps to the front door. We’d definitely return in the future!

What, no wine glasses?

Our overall impression of the property was favorable. Very nice setting, plenty of room. The lower deck area with hot tub was not clean, however. Bird droppings covered every surface, requiring hosing down and then wiping with sponge and cleaner, all chairs, table and hot tub cover.

We enjoyed having a cabin that fit our family Reunion needs.

We enjoyed having a cabin that fit our family Reunion needs. We only used the main house and we used everything - hot tub - movie room - air hockey - garage table & Chairs for "Grandma Camp" activities. Loved having a second refrigerator in the garage for perishable foods. The grandchildren loved the Bunk room where they could all sleep in the same room. The kitchen was well stocked and was surprised with all the equipment in the kitchen - I could have left my hand mixer - electric grill at home had I known they were provided. Only complaint I have was the HIGH beds. My husband found a stepping stool in the garage that I used to get in and out of the bed. It is difficult for an older person to simply run and Jump into bed. It is a long way to the floor with a person with short legs. You were very prompted in answering my questions via email.

We only had twenty in our family, but the need for space and privacy was the main reason Lunt Lodge

We only had twenty in our family, but the need for space and privacy was the main reason Lunt Lodge was the ideal space for us. Having the separate room above the garage was key to having our entire family together. Our ten grandchildren decided to sleep in a different bed every night which made more work for the cleaning crew, but fond memories were formed. Thank you for allowing us this much needed family time. The amount of work rental properties have must be exhausting! Bear Lake Lodging is friendly, helpful, efficient and easy to work with. Questions were answered promptly, problems were fixed, the lodge was well maintained.
