Jon is a very attentive and communicative host. I had an enjoyable stay at his home, which is comfortable and well-appointed. Access and parking were easy, and the location is quiet and convenient - walking distance to coffee shops and restaurants in North Berkeley.

We had a wonderful stay at Jon and Mary’s property. The apartment was exceptionally clean, well stocked and comfortable. It was in the perfect location for exploring Berkeley in between graduation festivities.

We had an amazing stay in Berkeley! The hosts were very thoughtful and helpful, the apartment was beautiful and comfortable and incredibly well cared for. And the location was perfect. A beautiful and safe neighborhood with cafes and grocery stores within walking distance.

One of our best vacation rentals. Jon and Mary were excellent hosts; house was immaculate with the most comfortable bed, linens and pillows. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine, snacks, candies, and condiments.Neighborhood was safe to walk and CVS and grocery shopping was a short walk away. We would highly recommend this rental.

My adult disabled son and I had an excellent stay. The location was perfect for us to walk up to Shattuck and around the neighborhood. I slept on the sofa bed and it was very comfortable.

Great apartment in a wonderful location

Not only was the apartment comfortable and well-stocked, it also was within walking distance of everything we could need. We stayed for six nights. Jon and Mary were wonderful, communicative, and attentive hosts. Easy check in and check out - simply a great experience all around.

Everything was perfect, the bed was the most comfortable, we slept very well, the kitchen was perfectly equipped. We were visiting our son, a Cal student, and we often cooked for him and hung out with him in the apartment. We had a car and everything was within 5 minutes, and it was also a pleasant walk.Jon and Mary are very caring hosts and when we come to Berkeley again we will definitely stay with them

lovely home in Berkeley

Beautifully maintained and restored older home with dozens of thoughtful amenities--wine, cappucinno, fresh flowers, croissants and cheese and crackers, lovely art and rugs and the most comfortable bed ever. Berkeley is my favorite city to visit, and this house is now my favorite to stay in. Perfect for solo traveler or couple.

Perfect spot in North Berkeley

Immaculate, nicely appointed, one bedroom a few blocks from Shattuck at Vine. Very close to great restaurants, groceries, bakery, and shops. Very comfortable beds. Just perfect. And delightful landlords.
