Peaceful place with a massive garden

The property was ideal for our family of six, with expansive grounds, a good quality table tennis table and a small but well maintained swimming pool. There was even a mini tennis court marked out on the huge lawn which the kids loved. The house itself is spacious and well equipped with good WiFi and off-road parking either outside the property or in the side garage. The local boulangerie was closed while we were there but Aldi and its adjoining boucherie is walkable. Vincent is justifiably proud of the property and was an excellent host, providing a detailed tour on arrival and good communication before & during the stay via WhatsApp.

Fabulous Farmhouse

We all really enjoyed staying at this property - 2 adults, 3 children aged 5-11. The house was easy to find, handy for excursions and is stunning inside and out. The bedrooms are comfortable and spacious, the living area and kitchen so family friendly with delightful welcome treats on arrival and everything you need for the stay and the garden and pool area are absolutely beautiful. My 3 boys had an absolute blast every day, playing table tennis, lawn tennis, feeding the fish and swimming, it was easy for us to relax and still supervise all these activities. Vincent our host was impeccable with his communication and although he was away at the time of our stay, had someone on hand to welcome us and help if we needed it and he kept in touch throughout via messages. Vincent sent through an extensive itinerary of highlights before we arrived and we found this extremely helpful planning our adventures each day. The surrounding area is full of fabulous places to visit with beautiful scenery, impressive towns, scrumptious food and wine. We even stumbled across the free retro festival in the local town Bethune which was fabulous. A little drive away we had fun on immaculate beaches and Nausica the largest aquarium in Europe was an absolute highlight for all. I thoroughly recommend this property, nobody wanted to leave! I am very grateful to Vincent for sharing this gem with us we have had an awesome holiday.

Cadre agréable !!

Séjour agréable dans un environnement propice à la détente. Table de ping pong, mini terrain de tennis et jardin arboré au calme nous ont conquis. Le parc d'Olhain à proximité, le Louvres-Lens et le centre de Béthune méritent le déplacement.
