On the lower floor (2nd floor), you'll find the living-dining area with a fully equipped kitchen, a large dining table, and a comfortable couch, as well as two bedrooms, each with a double bed. One of the two bathrooms, featuring a walk-in shower and rainforest showerhead, is also located on this level. There's also a small room housing the washing machine and dryer. The balcony (again with a breathtaking view of the castle) is one of the highlights of this apartment.
The attic features a spacious bedroom/living area, a second bathroom, and air conditioning. All rooms up here offer a sensational view of Heidelberg Castle.
The house is connected to the district heating system, combining historic walls with 21st-century amenities.
An important note: The apartment is on the 2nd and 3rd floors and you will have to climb stairs; the building has no elevator.

The history of the house, which houses four holiday apartments, dates back to the 15th century. At that time, it housed the castle's forestry department. The house is located in the heart of the old town, close to the Church of the Holy Spirit, the town hall, and the market square, and on the outer edge of the pedestrian zone. It offers all the amenities of the city center in terms of tourist attractions, restaurants, and other activities. Since the apartment is located on a quiet side street, it is wonderfully peaceful.
