About this property

Waterside Condo - Norris Lake - Andersonville, Tn

Waterside Marina is a full service marina to meet your boating needs and also includes a restaurant.

Waterside is a gated community located 7 miles from I-75 at Exit 122 off State Route 61E (which is a straight road great for pulling boats). This condo is about 20 minutes from downtown Knoxville, with abundant shopping and restaurants. Other attractions in East TN are The Great Smoky Mountains, Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, Dollywood which are less than 1 hour away.

Enjoy fine boating, excellent fishing (including small mouth bass, crappie, white bass, rock bass, walleye, and a variety of other game-fish) beautiful scenery, and many other opportunities for R&R at this luxurious new lakefront condominium at Waterside Marina on Norris Lake.

The interior boasts ceramic-tile flooring, marble counter-tops, and is fully furnished. Outside is a sizable patio which commands an unobstructed western view of historic Norris Lake, perfect for relaxing sunsets and sunrises.

The lake itself is surrounded by 56,700 acres, two large game-management areas, three state parks, and three county parks - all dedicated to public recreation.

Waterside is a gated community with a perfect amenity package for people who relish lakeside living at its very finest; a pool, a clubhouse, walking trails and green space/recreation areas.

And of course, there’s the marina. Waterside Marina is a full-service, totally renovated, 400-boat slip marina, complete with a restaurant built over the lake and a ship store for all your boating needs. Boat slips have sewer and water, and can accommodate up to 90 foot houseboats.

Experience Norris Lake at Waterside for yourself, and you will see why so many people have fallen in love with the natural features, wildlife, and recreation East Tennessee has to offer.

Also located within 5 miles you'll find Big Ridge State Park. The heavily forested, 3,687-acre park lies on the southern shore of TVA's Norris Reservoir. Visitors to the park will find a wealth of activities to meet any interest from guided nature tours to backcountry camping. Other notable features of the park include: the Norton Gristmill built in 1825, remnants of Sharp's Station Fort construction in the late 1700's, and Indian Rock where a plaque commemorates the death of Peter Graves, a settler of Sharp's Station who was attacked by Indians at this spot. Also, the park has several notable structures built by the Civilian Conservation Corp.

Other great places to visit nearby include Museum of Appalachia, a living history museum of pioneer, frontier, and early artifacts of mountain life in the Southern Appalachians.

Also located within 5 miles, Norris Dam is a 4,038-acre park, located on the Norris Reservoir, began in 1933 as the first Tennessee Valley Authority project. Miles of trails lead hikers through deeply forested valleys and ridges. Many other attractions await your finding at Norris Dam State Park.

Several antique malls are within just a few miles of Waterside Marina.

Super Walmart located approx. 7 miles (just as you get off interstate) and near fast food restaurants, plus several upscale and some quaint hometown restaurants. You are at the lake in the country, but still not so far away that you can't visit some other places, but still be convenient to shopping, etc.

Beautiful
This place is perfect!! We had a very blessed trip. It's beautiful inside and outside. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. The place was well stocked too. The lake views are incredible. We enjoyed the walking trail by the lake, and the workout room.

Explore The Beautiful Mountains
We did a lot in a week. The property was perfect. It was in the middle of all our events. We drove to Noah’s Ark in Williamstown,KY. Pall Mall TN to get a great history lesson on St. York. Then explore the great Smoky Mountains.Cades Cove is a must see. Gatlinburg was amazing. Your place was extremely nice to come back to every night. Quite and right on Norris Lake. One of our stops was just minutes away. Bible Baptist Church. Enjoyed both services. People are very welcoming. We are looking forward to our next trip in this area to bring family. Thanks for a wonderful week. Highly recommend Westside Maria to everyone.

About the host

We have been married 51 years and grew up in the area around Norris Lake. We always went to the lake for camping vacations when we were young so we know most of the great things the lake offers. We decided we were getting too old for sleeping on the ground in a tent and decided this was a much more comfortable way to "camp". Hot tub, swimming pool, nice comfortable queen size bed, etc.

Why they chose this property

We love the area, the lake and are very familiar with Norris Lake. We felt like it was a good value for the money.

What makes this property unique

Gorgeous view of the lake and marina from our unit. Sit on the covered patio and watch the water. Just enjoy the quiet at night with the shimmer of the moon on the water. Wonderful!
