We loved the home. It's older and funky but we were completely comfortable there. Of the 6 bedrooms, the two on the top floor and one on the first floor were very large, while the others were good-sized. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, all fully stocked. The kitchen is also fully stocked with everything you'll need. A toilet started leaking. Ten minutes after emailing Linda, a plumber arrived and fixed it. We were impressed! Our two favorite places were the large deck with many Adirondack chairs around a fire pit, with four tables and umbrellas spread out on either side, with a lake view . We ate all our meals out there. Our other favorite place was the private lakefront, with two docks and lots of chairs. Our 5 grandchildren had a ball swimming and fishing. The lakefront was less than 3 blocks away, and with the older grandkids (21 , 16, and 11), they could walk there on their own and stay there as long as they wanted, which they loved. One thing to note. There's a lot of walking up and down stairs. It's a 3-story property and to get to the main living area on floor 2, you have to go up stairs (clearly shown in the photo). To get from floor 2 to floor 3, you go up another set of stairs. You just need to be aware that there's no way around having to climb stairs. We also wished for more light above the dining room table. That's about it. We plan to go there again next June or July. We are already looking forward to it.
