Welcome to the Sea Cabin Condominiums, where the beach is only a walk away and the excitement of Isle of Palms is also within easy reach. These lovely condos have a fantastic location right in the center of the island, and this adorable 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom second-floor unit is the perfect escape for a little beach vacation! Living room sleeper sofa is brand new as of June 2023 and new bathroom vanity in April 2023!
Things to know prior to booking your stay: • The Sea Cabin buildings do not have an elevator. Stairs are used to access all units, including some stairs to the 1st floor. • Full Disclosure: There are small bunk beds built into the hallway – they are loved by children and even perfect for some small adults. They’re also a great place to use for extra storage if not being used for sleeping! They measure 24”x72.5” compared to standard twin size of 38”x75”. • All units are 490 sq. ft. – they most comfortably accommodate 2 adult guests with smaller children. But while they are smaller, they are still 2x the size of most hotel rooms and include a fully functional kitchen! • Please carefully review all photos including the aerial photo that shows the layout of the condo complex to get an idea of where you'll be staying. • Washers and Dryers are located next to the pool on the oceanfront; they are coin operated or download an app to pay! • Parking notes: Each unit is given 1 parking pass during peak season (June 1 – August 1). One extra pass may be requested during the off season. • The community pool is not heated and is usually open year round. • No smoking. A $500 dollar fine will be issued in order to professionally get rid of the odor. • No pets on site per condo regime and condo owner. No exception unless ADA documentation is provided prior to your arrival. A $500 dollar fine will be issued if pet(s) are found on site without proper documentation. • This property is managed by Carroll Realty, located on the island just 1.5 miles from the condo should you need anything during your stay!
This second floor unit was recently remodeled in 2020, along with having its air ducts cleaned and sterilized in 2021, giving you peace of mind and comfort. Step inside the home to be greeted by a bright entry hallway with new wood-laminate flooring. There are two twin beds built into the wall, providing convenient extra sleeping space that’s ideal for the little ones. You’ll find the full bathroom also, which offers a beautifully tiled walk-in shower and a unique glass bowl sink.
The hallway leads to the open concept kitchen and living area. The kitchen is fully equipped, so you can easily make your own lunch to take along to the beach, or to enjoy outside on your balcony. The kitchen offers a modern feel, with white cabinets, a tiled backsplash, and high-quality stainless-steel appliances. You’ll also find perks like a coffee maker and microwave!
The living area offers a clever setup, allowing you to enjoy the TV from multiple angles. It’s mounted above the four-seater dining set, making it easy to put something on while you’re sitting at the table, or you can watch it from the sofa against the far wall. The sofa can be pulled out into a convenient sleeper for extra space! (Memory Foam Sleeper Sofa installed June 02, 2023)A ceiling fan is a bonus feature, as it can keep the temperature cooler if you’d like. Just off the kitchen you’ll find a handy desk setup, where you can get some work done or use your laptop—there's also free Wi-Fi in the unit!
Sliding glass doors lead out to the balcony with an ocean view. The space is furnished with a two-seater high-top table, creating the perfect spot to take in the sunrise or sunset—maybe even enjoy a meal or two! Journey back inside to find the bedroom, which offers a queen-sized bed, ceiling fan, and flat-screen TV with cable access. It’s a relaxing spot to retreat to after a sunbaked day exploring the shore! When don’t have the energy to head out to the beach, you can relax at the shared resort-style pool or unwind by taking advantage of the private fishing pier!
The Sea Cabin Condominiums are 490 square feet and share a Community Pool (including a kiddie pool), Laundry Facility, and also have access to a Private Fishing Pier! These condos are centrally located right on Ocean Blvd which is a great location to be within walking distance to Local Restaurants, Beach Shopping, the county park, ice cream shops, island night life, and more! The Sea Cabin Condominiums are comprised of a three-building complex where all units have private balconies overlooking the beach and Atlantic Ocean. This is also the only lifeguarded area on the island = comfort in safety! Wireless Internet is also available. The complex has a very large pool and a kiddie pool. Come try your luck at fishing from the 1000-foot fishing pier that is only accessible by condominium owners and guests or enjoy a relaxing walk on the pier over the breaking waves.
Bike, water sport and beach umbrella rentals are available nearby. Shopping, dining, ice cream shops, nightly entertainment, grocery store, and post office are a short walk from the complex.
Bed Layout: Bedroom has a Queen Bed with TV. There is a Memory Foam Sleeper Sofa in the Living Room. The hallway consists of a bunk bed built-in to the wall - perfect for small children!
ALL BED LINENS, KITCHEN TOWELS, AND BATH TOWEL SETS ARE PROVIDED FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE!! You will only need to bring or plan to rent beach towels, chairs, bikes, umbrellas, etc. Also included is a starter set of toiletries such as toilet paper, bath & dish soaps, paper towels, etc. but please do keep in mind you will most likely need to purchase these items after your initial arrival.

The Sea Cabin Condominiums share a Community Pool including a kiddie pool, Coin Laundry Facility, and have access to a Private Fishing Pier! A few important notes to be aware: NO HOUSE PARTIES. NO SMOKING. NO PETS. No exceptions! There is a very strict noise ordinance policy on the island that goes into effect at 10pm on weeknights and 11pm on weekend nights. The 1 car limit is also strictly enforced. This house is a family rental and is located near year-round residents. This is not a rental home for bachelor/bachelorette events, wedding groups, youth groups, fraternities/sororities, receptions, or any other types of larger gatherings. We do NOT rent to students or anyone under the age of 21 - no exceptions - even if a parent or legally responsible adult makes the reservation. If such a group occupies or attempts to occupy the property, they will be required to immediately vacate and there will be NO refunds given. Further, this home is strictly a non-pet friendly home. Guest will be fined $500 if a pet is found to be on the property at any time.

Property was under renovation which we were not notified of. Dumpsters and workers were around. Condo was fine although it stayed super hot inside, I don’t believe the AC was working properly. Porch furniture could use updating. Water in the condo for showering smells bad. We were glad to have a short stay. Pool was unheated but clean. Location was perfect, close to the beach and little downtown shops. Grocery was nearby. I had little conversation with the host.
The location was perfect. We traveled in to Charelston for 2 days and it took about 20 minutes. Loved Isle of palms beach and restaurants. Host reached out to make sure everything was good! Will definitely go back again!
Beautiful sunrise views, very clean except shower curtain needs replaced (very dirty). Beautiful landscaping and beach. More comfortable seating on balcony would me nice. A bit crowded on the balcony
While condo is dated, it was clean and was everything we needed for the week. Can see the ocean from the unit and a short 2 minute walk to the beach. Gated walkway to the beach allows it to be less crowded than the areas around it. Restaurants and grocery store very close.
Room was good could use some blinds on the sliding glass doors, sofa was not comfortable and not sure how anyone would get on the top bunk, which luckily, we did not need it. The huge rat on the palm tree in front of the balcony was a scare. I do love Isle of Palms though.
The condo complex has lights that stay on 24/7. The condo needs blinds. The drapes are not sufficient to block out all the lights. Just one improvement could make a huge difference.
this was an incredible stay. perfect location, just minutes of walk! didn’t even need the car for the weekend. such a nice town and so much to do! we are already wanting to book it again for our anniversary!

We were very disappointed with this property for the money we paid. When we arrived the unit back sliding doors were open probably to air it out. However that didn't work. The entire unit smells very musty and moldy. Not good when you have a child that has asthma and is coughing all night because of it. The outside porch was filthy, and the furniture was in rough shape. The bedroom was so small and there was nowhere to put any luggage or things next to the bed. They should not advertise the two beds in the wall as actual sleeping possibilities. I don’t think an older child would fit and a younger child would probably fall right out of the bed. They are very narrow.

We had a great time at Sea Cabins - the location cannot be beat and the unit was perfect for my daughter and I. We were traveling for a tennis tournament in Mount Pleasant which was a short drive away - it was nice to escape to the beach every afternoon! I needed to work during the day and the wifi and workspace were perfect!

We had THE BEST stay at this rental! When we arrived, the unit smelled super freshly cleaned! The linens & towels were super clean and we were given plenty for our stay. The view was the best and the A/C worked perfectly for the 90 degree days! We would return in a heartbeat.

The location was excellent. And it was the perfect size for 2 adults and 2 kids. The couch/futon needs to updated though because it was very uncomfortable to sit or lay on. And the mattress in the bedroom was not soft. Otherwise, everything else was great!

Hi Jennifer - thank you for the comments and we’re glad you enjoyed your stay :) We’re happy to report that we have replaced the sofa with a new queen sized sleeper sofa and it is very comfy!! (Replaced June 2023). We inspected the mattress also and will keep an eye on it but it’s not old and everyone has different mattress preferences so we always try to get a mattress that’s not too soft and not too hard. We will replace in the future as soon as it’s needed! :)
We really enjoyed our stay and the location was great! Only one thing we found a problem with was the condos who have a shoe tray outside their front door which we both tripped over when unloading and loading our luggage! Please be careful.

Reservations cancelled 6 months prior to arrival will be refunded in full. If a reservation is cancelled less than 6 months prior to arrival, a full deposit refund less a $100.00 booking fee will be made only if the unit is re-rented for the same time and price, and at a pro-rated rate if only rented for the partial amount. The guest will be responsible for the difference in price if re-rented at a lower rate. We do offer and strongly encourage every traveler to purchase travel insurance as well for an added 10.8% or 7% charge depending on which plan you select. If accepted, the 10.8% travel insurance plan must be paid in full within 14 days of making a reservation or you may add the 7% plan up until 30 days prior to your arrival date or final payment is paid, whichever comes first. Hurricane season technically runs from June through October, but is especially more prone to occur in our area from late August through early October.
