Private year-round escape perfect for girls weekends, multi-family gatherings, corporate retreats and so much more memory making. Within walking distance of Lake Macatawa/small launch for kayaks, SUPs, etc. Only 2.4 miles to the Holland State Park, 1 mile from Anchorage Marina, 4.5 miles to Holland's quaint downtown boutiques, restaurants, civic center and farmers markets. All this can be accessed on bikes or easily by car. Space was completely updated in 2021. So much room to spread out, with five generous bedrooms, three living areas - huge basement, living room and den with wood burning fireplace, plus a screened in patio! There is also a lovely backyard patio with pavers and a dining set. The outdoor space also features a massive grill and firepit. Bring a good book, some hammocks and we provide all the setting for summer relaxing. Or come in the winter and watch the snow fall on the mature trees in the yard, put some wood on the fire and cozy up on our down filled couch in the den. No matter what season, this house will be the loveliest space for your beach vacation, holiday or work/school from home.

The house was very nice, very clean. Host was able to answer any questions we had. We had 9 people stay for a family wedding and was very nice. Saw deer walk through the back yard. Would recommend for large groups.

Freat family get away!

This was a great house for the 13 of us (and dogs). There is plenty of room to spread out, with plenty of bath towels and dishes. The basement was great for the teenagers! We wish our stay could have been longer. A big shout out to Beth, the host!

Family Vacation

We are a family of 10-12 adults & teens . This property was plenty big enough for all of us, to sit around dining table at same time for meals & games. The fire pit & provided wood was amazing. There were 5 chairs & ea of us brought some bag chairs to accommodate everyone.

Graduation weekend

This was a perfwct house for a large family. We were all comfortable and had plenty of room to spread out. Everyting we needed was avaialable- even things we didnt know we needed. Beth was a great host, kept us notified of check in availability, amd offered to fix anything we weren't happy with. Which was nothing. Comfortable, beautiful, and a perfect spot to visit both the beach and downtown Holland. The basement was perfect for the kids, and was well stocked with toys and games.

Holland property

There were a few things that needed to be addressed- pillows were just like hard rocks. The grill was broken for pancakes etc. the trash bins were full when we arrived therefore made it difficult for us to recycle and put trash in them. There is a black ant problem too. Location was good and house was good size for our group.

Unfortunately, finding a pillow that satisfies everyone is impossible. After reading countless reviews, and test driving multiple pillows, we ended with these. Some people reach out and want them at their house, yet others hate them and leave a bad review. I always tell guests before checking in if something isn't right to please contact us and we will make it right. I had no idea there was a broken gridle. The review says, grill, but our gas grill is nearly new so if it was not working it was likely user error. If it or a gridle was not working, we could have easily replaced during the stay. This is also the first I have heard of ants. The house is in the woods so a few bugs and creatures are to be expected outside - in their environment. I was at the house yesterday and could not find an ant. I asked the cleaning crew too. Maybe the problem was the ants outside on the patio? Without a lot more information or communication from the guest, we cannot find the problem. We have an exterminator on speed dial though and any issues brought to our attention are always taken care of immediately. It is unfortunate I did not hear one word from a guest and then find in a review there were things we could have done to improve their stay.
