La Maison du Bonheur & Spa

Welcome to the Millevaches plateau, at an elevation of 800 metres, in an authentic 18th-century Limousin-style building. Fully restored, thoughtfully furnished, and equipped with care, the Maison du Bonheur & Spa is an ideal and unique place for your stay. With its generous accommodation, you can settle in here with family, friends, or as a couple, and enjoy shared moments and pleasures together.<br>The surroundings, home to sheep, calves, cows, deer, and roe deer, are a haven of peace.<br>Accommodations<br>The privilege of luxurious comfort in a preserved natural and rural setting—that’s the promise of Maison du Bonheur & Spa.<br><br>The interior is warm, practical, and inviting. The large living room features a wood-burning stove to make our winters more comfortable. Surrounding it are two sofas that convert into comfortable three-person beds; a smart TV with internet access; and board games for times spent together. But it’s also a great place to work remotely.<br>The living room opens onto the dining room, which features a fully equipped kitchen.<br>Upstairs are two large bedrooms with double beds and en suite bathrooms. Available for everyone’s use: a whirlpool tub, a Finnish sauna, a hydromassage shower, and a steam room.<br>The master suite, located even higher up, features a queen-size bed, a home theatre, a library, and a freestanding two-person bathtub.<br>In the garden, enjoy sunny days outdoors around a barbecue and take advantage of the pétanque court, hammock, and lounge chairs set amidst unspoiled nature in the heart of the Limousin mountains.<br><br>The spirit of the house—comfortable yet distinctly of its era—invites you on a journey through its decor, which is both traditional and unique, blending art and craftsmanship from our country and beyond. The house, its amenities, its authenticity, and its decor are designed to be a source of pleasure and reverie, offering rest for the body and an escape for the mind.<br>And of course, you must set out to explore our region, traverse its splendid landscapes, and appreciate its flora, fauna, and architectural heritage—a treasure trove of rare and inexhaustible richness.<br>Guest Access<br>The entire property is exclusively yours. It is equipped with everything you need for daily life (dishwasher, washing machine, large refrigerator, Wi-Fi, Netflix access, Molotov, DVD player, Bluetooth speakers, towels and dressing gowns upon request… etc.)<br>Just a few metres from the garden, you’ll find a peat bog, pastures (with sheep and Limousin cows), and wilder, rolling woods—which may hold some surprises, so please stay cautious and alert.<br>Additional notes<br>The house, its amenities, its authenticity, and its decor are a source of pleasure, offering rest for the body and an escape for the mind.
