Take in the lovely view of the ocean from your own private, furnished balcony - or enjoy it from the comfortably furnished living room. You'll even be able to enjoy the ocean views (and views of the distant island mountains) from the full kitchen. The kitchen itself offers a dishwasher, full size appliances, and plenty of helpful cooking tools to aid in your vacation cooking. A desk workspace in the living room is perfect for finishing up remote work before heading out to the beach. Younger guests might enjoy relaxing in the loft bedroom, complete with a full bathroom on the same floor. When you're ready to drift off to sleep, just pull the room-darkening shades closed and enjoy sweet dreams of the shore.

You will be within four miles of Kahekili Beach Park, Black Rock Beach, and Kapalua Beach, among others. End the day with delicious mahi mahi from the Fish Market Maui, less than a mile from the condo.

A winsome getaway

Great, homey base camp for all our adventures! Had everything we needed. Started and ended our days with the views from the balcony - turtles swimming in rocks below, whales breaching and spouting in the distance, surfers doing their thing, and lovely sun risings and settings! Loved our home away from home!

Peaceful and beautiful

This property is very unique! It’s our second trip to Mahina Surf. The views are stunning. The grounds are immaculate. The small community feel is like no other! There is safety for young families; it isn’t a party atmosphere. Kids run freely, there can be noise. There isn’t air conditioning but the evening breeze does help to cool the night off. The staff work very hard to accommodate needs.

The doorknob was super janky-needs replacing, having extra bath towels, kitchen towels, pillows, and especially an extra roll of TP for each restroom. Our pillows were flat and only came with one per head. One bath towel per head too, for a weeks stay-at least have a few extra sowed away…There were lots of ants in the kitchen and bathroom.

Just okay

This condo does not have A/C which wasn’t clearly indicated in the listing. Overnight the temperature was okay, as there was good airflow, but during the day it was very warm and humid. There were three small fans to use in addition to the ceiling fans but only two of the fans worked. The laundry room is clean and easy to use but you pay $1.75 to wash and $1.25 to dry each load. Depending on where your condo is located it may be kind of far from the laundry room as there is one laundry room serving the entire facility. No dishwasher detergent was supplied, so we washed all dishes by hand since dishwashing soap was provided. They request that you run the dishwasher before you check out, but again, they don’t even supply one pod for you to run it when you check out. There were beach chairs in a closet but one was broken, another one was bent. The furniture was not in the best shape. Some of the bamboo kitchen chairs were coming apart. The dust-buster didn’t work. The refrigerator never seemed to keep things really cold. Then, on our last day, our milk was curdled and the refrigerator didn’t seem to be keeping things cold at all, despite the freezer still working properly. Some of the linens smelled musty. And, it advertises that it can sleep 7, which means two people using the hid-a-bed couch. The hid-a-bed was very uncomfortable. You could feel the springs through the mattress. Overall this place was just okay. I would not recommend it to any of my family or friends. If I were ever to return to Maui, I would not stay here again.

Beautiful and comfortable ocean front

Beautiful and well maintained small complex. Great pool, no direct beach but turtles on small rocky beach nearby. On the small side but beds and sofa very comfortable. View from lanai to enjoy morning papaya just spectacular. We were on second floor for beautiful view but not for those who can’t climb stairs or haul luggage (groceries) up to unit or inside to 2nd floor loft.

Great condo with fabulous ocean views

We spent a week in this nicely furnished, well stocked condo. Our favorite part was the deck where we spent hours each day watching the whales, sea turtles and dolphins swim by!! We will definitely be back again!!
