Very nice
Had a very nice stay with our two adult kids. The house is just as advertised. It is emaculate, very comfortable, quiet. Kitchen is adequately stocked to prepare meals easily. Beautiful Raystown Lake is a very short drive. We would certainly return.

Great Property
Private property, lots of space between neighbors. A/C units in each room worked perfectly. House is updated as shown in photos. Garage/game room was a hit. Great rental all around!

Quaint and peaceful
If you are looking for a secluded spot with a darling home, look no further. If you respect nature and love the sound of the woods, this is a wonderful place. Enjoying a perfect spot for gathering around a firepit just down in front of home. The home itself is a delite to see when lit up at night. Sitting on the deck to see wildlife. Everything you need is here. The host, Michael is there for every question you have. Pulling a boat in is no trouble at all. A hop, skip & jump to local store, and Seven Points boat ramp. Our family can not wait to enjoy more time here again.

About the host

Hello, my name is Michael and I'm your host at Harry's Home Away From Home. This place is a home I grew up going to as I was a child and even into my adult years. My grandfather, Harry, is where it got its name. He loved spending his time at Raystown lake and the house. We would enjoy fires, hiking, and swimming in the lake and we hope to pass on those memories to you, your family, and friends!

Why they chose this property

This property is a place I grew up going to since I was a young kid. My grandfather Harry is who introduced Raystown to me and ever since, I fell in love with the outdoors and the lake.

What makes this property unique

The home is deeper into the woods and only located within a 5 minute drive to the lake. The beauty of the woods gives that sense of seclusion and beauty of the starry sky, which I love. The home offers big windows that sit on the front of the house that allow for natural sunlight into the home and clear view of whats out front.
