Charming old mill nestled in the Burgundy countryside

One of a kind old countryhouse in a beautiful lush setting and great view, 10 minutes walk from a village with tennis courts, swimming pool and great local shops.

La Tour" is a little out of time for a stay in the French countryside... while still being close to a pretty village !

The ground floor features a living room with sofa bed, and an adjoining kitchen/dining room with bay window and countryside views.

On the 1st floor, a large bedroom opens onto the 2nd floor, where you'll find the bathroom and toilet, and a dressing room.

Please note that the house has a quite a steep staircase (with railing). You have to go through the bedroom to get to the bathroom. Pets are welcome, but please note that the grounds are not fully fenced.

The village is 1 km away, about a 10-minute walk.
There's a bakery, a café-bar, a restaurant, a supermarket with petrol station, and a farmers' market on Mondays.

As for sports, the swimming pool is open in summer (25m and paddling pool + play area), and there are 2 very recent tennis courts (quick), a city stadium and a play area for young children.

In the region, you'll find numerous ponds for summer swimming: Etang du Merle 25 minutes away, Etang de la Machine (with sandy beach) 20 minutes away, Etangs de Baye 40 minutes away, Lac de Pannecière 45 minutes away, Lac des Settons 60 minutes away. Great walks in the Morvan.

Visits to the Pouilly and Sancerre sur Loire wine cellars less than an hour away.

Superb accrobranche (zip lining) 20 minutes away (Sauvigny les Bois), indoor swimming pool 20km (Nevers), go-karting at Magny-Cours. Kayak and bike rides along the Loire at Nevers.
