About this property

Le Moulin de Champagne

An Exceptional Setting: Le Moulin de Champagne is nestled at the end of a cul-de-sac in the small village of Jully-sur-Sarce in the “Côte des Bar” region of Champagne, not far from the Champagne vineyards and the charming town of Bar-sur-Seine. As if frozen in time, you’ll discover this imposing old watermill from 1838, standing majestically behind a meandering river. Nature is ever-present around the cottage. The cottage has been converted from this old mill, which the owner has partially restored with care, using traditional materials to preserve the spirit and history of this historic building. Among other things, you’ll appreciate the original old pulleys hanging from the ceiling of the large living area. On the first level, you’ll find a large living area comprising a kitchen, a dining room, and the living room with a sofa featuring a chaise longue. Climb a few steps to discover the “Georgette” bedroom, with its breathtaking view of the river. The room features a double bed (140x190 cm). On the other side, after a few steps, you’ll find the miller’s room, which has a double bed (180x200 cm). A shower room and a separate bathroom complete the first level. Going down the staircase from the entryway, you’ll discover a bathroom with a shower and bathtub, made unique by the view from the mill’s arched window. A spacious laundry room rounds out this level. Upstairs, you’ll be charmed by the cosy family bedroom, with its four single beds (90x190 cm). The beds will be made upon your arrival.
