Tahlequah's Place Condo in Downtown Friday Harbor

Tahlequah’s Place is studio style, very close to the main street of Friday Harbor with easy walking to all the best places. We encourage you to explore our island, search for the whales, and enjoy the magnificent sunrises and sunsets.

Our place has a murphy bed that can be pulled up and hidden behind the doors to provide additional living space, kitchen and lounge area, along with an updated bathroom.

The Murphy bed features a new memory foam queen size mattress and is very comfortable. In addition, there is also a memory foam futon sofa in the living area.

Our kitchen is fully stocked with necessities such as dishes, cups, mugs, crockery, pans, coffee maker, microwave, stove, refrigerator, Dawn dish soap, and kitchen towels. We also include complimentary popcorn, oatmeal, hot cocoa, tea, locally roasted coffee from the San Juan Roasting Company, San Juan Island Sea Salt and Pepper, and other kitchen essentials.

Our bathroom is stocked with Tresemme Shampoo and Conditioner, Olay Body Wash, Method hand soap, hairdryer, and Jergens body lotion.

We also provide an iron and ironing board in the closet.

We offer High Speed Wi-Fi, along with a new Toshiba Smart TV streaming Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, and Prime for evenings when you want to relax after the adventures of the day. Our condo also equipped with Amazon Echo (Alexa).

Just outside and down the stairs there is a courtyard where you can enjoy a cup of coffee on one of the benches, grill a burger or just hang out after a long day exploring the island.

Our condo comes with parking for one vehicle. You can park on either Jensen Alley or Martin Street.

Please note, the condo association has security cameras around the exterior of the complex, and we have a video doorbells on the exterior as well.

Perfect location!

This condo was great for our short stay on the island! It was close to Spring Street and the pier, easy to get dinner and an afternoon coffee! I would recommend. Check in/out process was easy and Kacie was available if we needed her.

Condo was nice. Had issues with light switches. Had to contact Kacie. Disliked the incessant chiming from the Ring doorbell and smart hub all day and night long. Otherwise nice stay.

Quick Stay

My stay was a quick one night stay for work. This property was in close proximately to the ferry terminal and downtown Friday Harbor. Very clean and great accommodations. I had to call Kacie to ask a stupid question and she was polite and very nice on the phone. Also had to message about a light issue at checkout and she was quick to reply. Very nice place to stay.

Great stop in

We popped in for one night after a kayking/camping trip. Walkable from downtown. The only glitch was the directions on the vrbo map were not corresponding to the actual address. We were a little confused but we contacted managers and they got us on the right track immediately. Thank you!

Location to downtown was good. It's a studio condo w/ a murphy bed. In the corner of the building, not much sunlight. Does have a pool open in the summer time. Very walkable. Leave your car and walk to the Harbor .

A Disappointing ExperienceOur stay presented a mix of initial positives and significant challenges. Kacie promptly resolved a door access issue, and we found the unit clean. However, upon entering, a strong chemical and cigarette odor was present, despite the unit being non-smoking. We immediately informed Kacie, who confirmed the non-smoking policy, but our request to document the odor went unanswered.Concerned for our daughter, for whom we'd paid an extra fee, we inquired about alternative arrangements due to the persistent smell. Kacie clarified that only officially listed guests could stay. We then sought further clarification, asking if, as the sole listed renter, I could stay with another family member to free up space for my daughter and husband elsewhere. Kacie confirmed only my husband, daughter, and I were permitted, which we accepted.Later, mid-event, we were surprised by a message from Kacie stating they'd be monitoring us via cameras. Given our prior policy inquiries, this felt unexpected. We expressed our confusion, aiming to de-escalate what seemed like a personal and aggressive communication, but received no response.A simple, professional response acknowledging the odor and clarifying policies would have been appreciated. We visit the area frequently but, due to this unprofessional experience, we won't be returning to this property. I can’t screenshot the messages now that I’m in the review process but I hope to be able to come back & add it afterwards
