I stayed at the property for a weekend getaway in mid-October and it was perfect for our needs. The property itself is surrounded by trees and has a rustic feel, so you feel like you're wrapped in nature. Different sights of interest are also nearby, from Lake Wallenpaupack to the Lacawac sanctuary, which was a quick 15 min drive and had great hiking trails to see fall foliage. The property manager was responsive and accommodating. I would stay at this property again.
Our stay at this beautiful cabin was amazing, they have board games, a smart tv and free WiFi available for all your littles not to get bored! Not too far from the lake or other attractions, a market 5 minutes away as well as a dollar general. Confortable, clean beds! We will definitely be coming back! Thank you!
We arrived on August 28th at 1030pm to the cabin. The plants were overgrown and it was dark plus the windows downstairs were open. So we were not sure if this place was even the right place. It was. It took us about 15 minutes to get the lock box open. After tra eling all day it was frustrating. The property manager sis call us once we were in the house. When we walked in it smelled like cigarettes and we couldnt find lights to turn on the living room. When we walked around to find the lights I was mortified. The place was dirty and things were still a mess. The property manager apologized and gave us some money back. When we woke up the next morning i took photos of everything wrong and the tub with hair in it stained carpets, extra pillows shoved on the floor in all closets. Outside was a mess. Trash was torn all over from bears prior our visit. The property manager assured us it was going to be cleaned. Never happened and stayed there 5 nights. Outside was so disappointing no outdoor furniture. Just rotted cornhole boards a grill and a table with moss groing on it. The list goes on. Never again for sure. I hope it gets better. I had to clean to say the least in order to stay theor five nights.
Wish we could have stayed longer. The location was amazing. The house was well kept and had things we needed. Would stay there again!

Relaxing getaway
Relaxing getaway in a cozy cabin that is maintained to decent standards! Don’t come to this cabin if you’re looking to be close to a town and stuff to do/places to eat. Was in a desolate area and had to drive 30 mins to closest actual town. There was one grocery store 5 mins down the road but that’s basically it. Overall nice to stay in if looking to just get away and chill
Charming cabin with lake view in a natural setting afforded us a relaxing fall stay within close proximity to Lake Wallenpaupack and just a 15 minute drive to Promised Land State Park. Location is also close to nearby hiking trails in the Delaware State Forest. Cabin interior has been well maintained to preserve its character. Host provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay and we would definitely book again!
We had a great time here. The scenery around the cabin was excellent and specially at the time we had been there since it was peak fall in that area. Cabin was clean and had all the items as mentioned in the listings. Property owner Todd responded to all my questions whenever I asked him. I would definitely recommend this stay to everyone.
Todd was the most accommodating host we have had yet! The cleanliness was impeccable, the beds were incredibly comfortable, kitchen was well stocked. There is a supermarket right up the road for anything you’re need and not even a 5 minute drive to the lake. We really couldn’t have asked for a better weekend away for a quick trip.
We had a nice get away ,very comfortable house ,good communication with the host and close to everything we wanted to do.

Cozy, stylish well appointed house
We had a relaxing and restful stay. The owner was so nice and helpful . The house was well equiped and very clean. It was about 15 minutes from Promised Land lake beach where the kids had a great time wading in and catching tadpoles. Lacawac Sanctuary was a very pretty nearby hiking spot.
