** Additional information for heating the pool **
Propane costs are constantly fluctuating & increasing.
We have to heat the pool with external propane tanks (192 gallons when full) and during winter months, it can take a lot of propane to bring it up to a comfortable 85° We are only looking to recover the cost of the propane used. We can turn the heat on remotely per request and send an invoice through VRBO. In the winter months, the water temp can average around 55° The initial heat up can consume around 30 to 40 gallons of propane. The initial heat up can keep the water warm for a couple days... when the pool temp starts getting cold we can "Bump" the heat back up to 85° each bump can consume around 10 to 15 gallons of propane. So, if someone was staying for 5 days... it could take around 55 gallons of propane to heat the pool for the stay. The cost of propane (currently in 2023) is around 4.00 per gallon (with delivery & taxes) We would invoice the guest through VRBO during the stay. Our hot tub uses electricity for heating and there is no charge for using the hot tub.

We had a very nice stay at Joe's home. Very much enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub. Cox cable on the TV was a huge plus for watching sports and many channels while relaxing in the family room. If there was one word that could describe this property, the title of this review says it all!I have rented numerous other properties over the years, and they never seem to live up to the owner-provided pictures. In this case, the house exceeded ALL our expectations.The private backyard is amazing and Joe & Desiree’ have stocked the house with everything you might need while there. And then to top it off, the location was perfect. It is in a quiet neighborhood with no traffic or noise but yet is conveniently located to stores, restaurants, and freeways.Our biggest problem was trying to determine whether to use the heated pool, hot tub, putting green, or simply enjoy the Arizona sun in the numerous outdoor furniture options provided. And on those chilly early mornings, there were propane heaters that allowed you to still enjoy your morning coffee outside.The interior was just as perfect between the size of the bedrooms, the large well-stocked kitchen, and multiple sitting/living areas. And when not having our nightly shuffleboard or dart tournaments, we just relaxed by watching the huge TV with a gorgeous picture. And if you can’t agree on what to watch, there are TVs in practically every room in the house (and even one outside).And to top it off, Joe was as responsive of a host as it gets. Any questions I had were answered quickly.This place is a gem - you won’t find a better place to stay. It will always be our #1 choice when visiting Arizona.

This property had everything we needed to have a place close to our friends house, to entertain ourselves when we were at the VRBO, and take care of our one year old.
