Maison de Caractère Récemment Rénovée, Près D'un lac et D'une Rivière

This holiday rental is located in a charming, fully renovated house between the heart of the village—where you’ll find excellent local shops—and the Vézère River, which flows below just a few minutes’ walk away. Lake Poncharal is less than two kilometres from the house.

The accommodation:
The entrance is on the high street. A large staircase leads you to the ground floor, where you’ll find the living area, the kitchen, and two bedrooms. The third bedroom is on the second floor. Old-world charm with modern comforts.
This holiday rental has three bedrooms: two on the ground floor, next to the living room (one with a 140 x 190 cm bed and the other with two 90 x 190 cm beds), and a third on the second floor, near the bathroom, with a 140 x 190 cm bed.
It is a three-story house from the 1920s that was completely renovated in 2016, with the kitchen and bathroom newly fitted in early 2017.
You’ll also enjoy a beautiful 600-square-meter garden and a shaded terrace set amidst old stone walls.
The kitchen is equipped with a microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer, electric kettle, toaster, blender, and mini-oven.

Please note: there is no TV access in the house—we do not have an internet subscription. However, in the living room, you’ll still find a TV screen and access to a PC running Windows 10. If you’d like to watch TV, we recommend bringing your own laptop to access TV channels via mobile data on your personal phone (since the PC is a desktop, it can’t access your data directly). We’ve provided an HDMI cable so you can connect your laptop to the TV. I personally use Bouygues Télécom, and when we come here on holiday, that’s how we watch TV ;-) But there are so many activities to do here that you won’t have time to get bored! And we’ve left a few board games in one of our cabinets ;-)

The surrounding area
It’s a 53-minute drive from Vigeois. The Gramat Wildlife Park is 1 hour and 10 minutes away, as are the Padirac Chasm, La Roque Saint-Christophe, Rocamadour, and the Plateau des Mille Vaches Nature Reserve. A 45-minute drive will take you to the Haut Quercy tourist train station or Collonges-la-Rouge. The first canoe and kayak launch sites on the Vézère River are a 15-minute drive away. Brive and Tulle are a half-hour drive away. Pompadour is twenty minutes away, and Uzerche is five minutes away. And for swimming, you’re just five minutes from Lake Poncharal, with its sandy beach and pedal boats.
The house is five minutes from the nearest highway exit (A20); you can also get there by train on the Paris–Toulouse line (the train station is about a ten-minute walk from the house).

Guest access
Access to the entire property except for locked but unoccupied bedrooms.
