Big disappointment

The garage is a mess. The house smells old and musty. The linens and towels need replaced. The couches were old and dirty. The people upstairs were up at night when we wanted to sleep making it miserable. The property manager was helpful, but would not recommend this property!

This location is fabulous for a stay in San Francisco. It is a basement suite so not a lot of light apart from that, it met our needs.

Responsive host and decent location

We had a great stay and loved having a garage for the car. The kitchen has some decent things to use but lacking much silverware and a bigger pot for noodles for a bigger group. If not cooking a lot of only for 2, no issue. The host was great working with us to figure out a frig problem that was probably just due to cleaners not shutting the door all the way to the freezer and it being left a few days. It's not perfect but worked well and had 2 showers!

Great Stay at Two suitcases

Very spacious and comfortable, appreciated having two bathrooms. Host responsive to any questions and concerns. Master bedroom very light. Lots of closets. Being a one block walk to the N Judah line a real plus. Induction cooktop another plus.

Great location but......

The accommodation is the lower floor of a 2 story house. It's clean, in good condition and the photos are representative. The location is wonderful- close to the park, restaurants and the Muni. Check in was easy and the property manager was very helpful in obtaining extra coffee mugs. A family stays on the top floor. The flooring is wood and transmits noise easily. Most noise arose between 10.30pm to 12.30am. There was the occasional playing of a piano at these times as well. For us, it made sleep difficult. If you don't mind a bit of noise at odd hours, then this is a good location.

Perfect place for our stay

This was a great place for our stay in SF. Around the corner from Muni train and bus stop (uphill to apartment fyi). Very residential quiet neighborhood- Close to Inner Sunset restaurants and delis. A quick train and walk to Golden Gate Park. The apartment itself was roomy and great! For those complaining of it being dark let me clarify- the front gets no natural light but the back gets a ton. There is plenty of lighting in the apartment it never once felt dark or gloomy. There are 2 couches so plenty of seating for everyone and so many sleeping options (Queen plus full bunks plus trundle plus very long wide couches). We didn’t use the backyard but it was nice to have as an option. Vicky was amazing and very responsive. She let us check in early which I can’t even express how much that helped us. All in all such a great experience. Would stay there again and recommend to everyone!

Clean apartment with garage!

The rental worked great for us. It was clean and comfortable. The garage was a huge bonus. Good communication throughout and we appreciated the quick response to any questions that arose. Would stay here again!

Basic accommodations

We enjoyed our stay. The apartment provided a comfy space for sleeping and was clean. As other reviews mention, the space is darker than the photos lead you to believe. The space is filled with an eclectic array of items and it was somewhat difficult to find things in the kitchen. The host was great to communicate with and very responsive. When we arrived there were several blankets on the couches that had dark red stains on them, which was quite concerning to see. The host was quick to explain the blankets were clean (the stains were left from a previous guest’s child getting toy slime on the blankets) and pointed out there was additional clean blankets in the garage if we felt more comfortable changing them out. Having the garage space was a huge perk. We lived in SF for 10 years and know first hand how bad parking can be, so it was a huge relief every time we returned to the apartment to have easy parking in the garage.

Great Stay!

My coworker stayed on-site for the evening and said everything inside was nice and very clean. The check-in process and communication prior to his stay was very satisfactory. The outdoor space was really what drew us to this listing as we were looking to host an intimate media event for a client--and the host graciously agreed to the event as long as we adhered to the house rules. The exterior image listed is definitely different than what the space looks like today. It would have required some work on our end to get it ready for a media-facing event. Thankfully, we ended up moving the location of the media event portion at the last minute due to weather conditions. So, it all worked out in the end.

House near Golden Gate Park

Our stay at the home on 18th Street was fine. The place is in good shape and the landlord is very responsive and generous, which we really appreciated. It was great to have a garage for our car. The location is good and beds were comfortable but the home is rather dark and uninspiring. It worked fine for our stay.

Wonderful space; gracious hosts

I brought 3 of my kids (ages15-26) to visit my daughter who lives near the property. It was a great space with all that we needed. Great to have 2 bathrooms, kitchen was excellent, backyard space was wonderful. The ‘kids club’ she’d was so great - my kids are too old to use :) but what a great area for younger kids. Host was so kind and responsive. Walking distance to Golden Gate Park. And a Starbucks :) and little market nearby. It was perfect! Thank you.

Inner Sunset

Check in was easy and the neighborhood was quiet. It was nice having a garage . I found the photos misleading, The outdoor space was not as nice as portrayed. The furniture was a bit tacky. SF is expensive but I thought the place was overpriced

Cute little place

This place was super cute, I loved the personal touches of the paintings and art all over the walls. It was nice to have a full kitchen which was well-equipped for simple meals at home. The garage parking was perfect, no headache looking for street parking or parallel parking. The backyard area was nice! The shed in the back had a bunch of toys for kids! My only criticisms were that there were some ants in the kitchen and bathroom areas and that the floors weren’t super clean. We requested a vacuum from the owner and they had it delivered right away.

Great Stay

This place was great. It was a very close walk to inner sunset where we ate most nights and shopped a few times. It was also no more than a 10 minute drive to any of the other attractions we wanted to see. We had 4 adults and 5 small children that fit well with the bunk beds and couches. Our only one, small complaint, is that we found tons of ants all over the apartment and one night we left food in a covered box on the counter. when we woke up there were hundreds of ants all over the counter. We understood that this can happen in a bigger city but with small kids it’s hard to not have food in the apartment at all.

Family Friendly

The place is wonderful with children. The two living spaces allowed us to spread out. The outside was very kid friendly with the "playhouse". Off-street parking was a bonus.

Great SF property!

Wonderful accessible property

This was a great little apartment in an awesome location. Very close to Golden Gate Park. The neighborhood is walkable with tons of restaurants. We also needed something wheelchair accessible which is hard to find in the city. No stairs and quite spacious.
